In the process of chicken production and breeding, disinfection is a very important environment, and many farmers are still unfamiliar with the understanding of chicken house disinfection. Today, this paper makes some detailed introduction to the chicken house disinfection procedure, the contents are as follows.

Cleaning and disinfection in chicken coop

The cleaning and disinfection in the chicken house is divided into four steps: "one sweep, two flushes, three sprays and four empty houses".

1. The first step is "sweep". Thoroughly remove and clean up the sundries, chicken droppings, cobwebs and feathers in the henhouse.

2. The second step is "Erchong". Use a clean pump or high-pressure pump to pump water and rinse the chicken house up and down, left and right (and walls, brick posts, windows, floors) thoroughly.

3. The third step is "three sprays". Use clear water pump to disinfect the chicken coop up and down, left and right, until dripping drops, generally every 100 square meters of chicken coop should be sprayed at least 300 jin of water.

4. The fourth step is "four empty houses". After spraying disinfectant, the chicken house should be left vacant for 5 days. After the chicken house is naturally dried, another disinfectant is sprayed, or it is fumigated with potassium permanganate and formalin.

Note: if the chicken coop with bursal disease has occurred, use 5% formalin spray (repeat step 3).

The general disinfection procedure of the chicken house is as follows: after cleaning up the chicken manure, rinse it with water and dry it, sprinkle the ground and 1 meter high wall with 2% caustic soda, rinse with water for 2 days, air dry and then spray with 0.3% disinfectant. After 2 days, spray 0.1% diquaternary ammonium iodide (or 2.8 disinfectant 300 jin) with 0.1% diquaternary ammonium iodide (or 2.8 disinfectant 300 jin) and sprinkle the ground and 1 meter high wall with 20% quicklime for 2 days. Leave 3Mel vacant for 5 days before entering the seedlings.

Disinfection of nursery room

After the completion of the disinfection procedure specified in Article 1, before the chicken house is cool and dry, fumigate with formalin (formaldehyde) potassium permanganate:

1. Formalin: potassium permanganate is 2:1.

2. Per cubic meter of space: 25ml formalin, 12.5g potassium permanganate (spatial cube calculation: length * width * height, unit: meters).

3. Each nursery has 3 porcelain bowls. After putting potassium permanganate into the porcelain bowl, pour in 2 times the amount of formalin immediately.

4. Close and seal the doors and windows of the nursery, and then open the doors and windows for ventilation after 24 hours.

5. Points for attention

① formalin containers can only use porcelain bowls and clay bowls, not wood or plastic products.

When pouring ② into formalin, you must be careful of your head, face and hands as far as possible from the porcelain bowl to prevent injury after the liquid is spilled.

People who pour ③ into formalin should leave the nursery immediately and close the doors and windows.

The fumigated nursery of ④ has to be left vacant for 3 days before entering the chicken.

Disinfection outside the henhouse

First get rid of the weeds and chicken droppings around the chicken coop. After the chickens are buried or burned, sprinkle them with 23% caustic soda water or 20% raw lime water on a sunny day.

Appliance disinfection

After washing the utensils with clean water, soak in disinfectant for more than half an hour, dry in the sun (cool) and move into a sterilized chicken coop.

Workplace disinfection

The workplace is a place where fodder, husks and sundries are stored. Pathogens are easy to survive in this place. After raising a batch of chickens, the sundries should be removed, cleaned and sprayed with disinfectant.

Disinfection of instruments for vaccination (disinfection of disinfectants is prohibited)

Syringes, eye drop bottles, seed needles, etc., wash with clean water, boil for 30 minutes and dry.

Take chicken to disinfect

With chicken disinfection refers to the chicken house in the case of chickens, the chicken house air disinfection, with low concentration of non-irritating or small irritant disinfectant spray disinfection. With the benefits of chicken disinfection: can kill the pathogenic microorganisms in the air or attached to chicken feathers, in addition, spray disinfection can also increase the humidity of the chicken house air, reduce dust, summer heat can also cool down. Operation methods and matters needing attention for disinfection of chickens:

1. Spray with chicken disinfection (summer: when the temperature is high at noon, it should be carried out once every 1 to 2 days)

If you want to clean the ① sprayer, you'd better use a special sprayer.

The use of warm water in cold days in ② can reduce the stress of chickens.

Disinfectants with less irritation were selected for ③.

The concentration of ④ solution should be sufficient.

⑤ with chicken disinfection is to disinfect the air, so the sprinkler should be at least one meter from the height of the chicken, and the sprinkler should be upward.

2. Acetic acid fumigation

Prepare 6 small iron cans for every thousand chickens, and some vinegar essence. Methods: 1 two vinegar essence to 1 kg of water, packed in a can, placed on a coal stove, evenly distributed in the chicken house, let the vinegar essence volatilize naturally.
