The disease that is most harmful and most difficult to control in the process of raising chickens is pneumonitis, especially from October of that year to June of the following year, which can last until July. The pathogen causing pneumonitis is very complex. If there is no clear goal in clinical treatment, it is difficult to judge the pathogen and choose effective drugs. Let's take a look at the prevention and treatment of chicken pneumocystitis.

Etiology of pneumocystitis in chickens

1. Viral infection: especially from October of that year to June of the next year, the temperature difference is large, coupled with the incomplete physiological development of chicks, the early stage is not sensitive to temperature difference, under the existing feeding conditions, some weak chickens are first infected and then the whole flock is sick.

2. Incomplete purification or early infection of mycoplasma: for the current complicated sources of breeding eggs, coupled with the lack of scientific incubation, it is easy to cause the spread of the disease. Often after 3-4 days, nose swinging and coughing begin to appear. Once immunized, the disease occurs, especially the first immunity from bursa of Fabricius or the second immunity from Newcastle disease, which is extremely difficult to control after causing mixed sensation.

3. Improper feeding and management: long-term non-disinfection of chicken house, irregular removal of feces and poor ventilation can easily lead to low humidity, too much dust and excessive smell of ammonia to induce or aggravate the occurrence of the disease. Careless control of drinking water sources and disinfection of utensils are the root causes of diarrhea and intestinal diseases.

Symptoms of pneumonitis in chickens

1. In the early stage of the disease, the chickens had mild respiratory symptoms (wheezing and nose swinging), elongated eyelids, foaming in the corners of the eyes, the feed intake of the chickens was not affected, the feces were dry and there was no mortality.

2. In the middle stage of the disease, the chickens closed their eyes, bowed their heads and stood still, and even had dyspnea, opened their mouths and stretched their necks, coughed and swung their noses, and large groups did not increase their feed, resulting in yellowish green thin feces, and the mortality rate reached 0.5-1%.

3. Compared with the elderly, the diseased chickens showed reddish purple beard, strange barking, snoring, depressed spirit, elevated body temperature, loss of appetite, accumulation or standing on one side, white stool or yellowish green thin stool, poor growth and serious decline in food intake. Some severe chickens lie on the ground and gasp slightly. Most of the dead chickens had a good appearance and spirit, and the bronchi were blocked by inflammatory secretions.

4. Dead chickens whose bronchi are blocked because of pneumonitis, belly up.

Autopsy of pneumocystitis in chickens

1. There are needle-like bleeding spots in the larynx, cleft palate and eyelids, and congestion, bleeding and mucus in the trachea.

2. The chest balloon is turbid, thickened, with yellow or yellow-white inflammatory exudate, and the course of the disease is longer to form a massive cheese-like attachment.

3. The abdominal air bag will also appear turbid and thickened, and there are often a large number of small bubbles in the abdominal cavity (white mucus in the early stage), and the course of the disease is longer to form a massive cheese-like attachment.

4. the autopsy symptoms of severe chickens were pneumonitis, pneumonia, pericarditis, pericarditis, peritonitis, diffuse bleeding of duodenum, enlargement and bleeding of cecal tonsil.

5. Swelling or atrophy of bursa of Fabricius, purulent exudate, hemorrhage and atrophy of thymus.

6. in severe cases, there are embolic substances in the lungs and bronchi.

Prevention and treatment of pneumonitis in chickens

1. Preventive measures

① should be injected with ND-AI oil vaccine in time to control the occurrence of H5. At the same time, in addition to adding drugs to purify mycoplasma and white dysentery in drinking water, "dysentery Kang" must be added, with a bag of 300 jin of ingredients.

After anti-IBD, ② was treated with Xenobufagin plus Azitrexil to enhance the immunity and prevent the vaccine stress response. Continuous use for 3 days can effectively reduce the incidence of respiratory tract and Escherichia coli.

③ second immune Newcastle disease must first side antibody and then do freeze-dried vaccine, so as to avoid antibody neutralization and immune blank period, the disease takes advantage of deficiency.

2. Treatment methods

① Shuanghuanglian 200jin water / bottle + Anai nearly 8jin water / g + tylosin 8jin water / g mixed drinking water in the morning, rod net (300jin water / bag) afternoon drinking water, used at the beginning to find that the spirit is depressed, the casualty rate of large groups is not large, three days can obviously control the further development of the disease.

② morning card inflammation (white bag, 400jin water / bag), calculated according to the amount of water consumed throughout the day, concentrated drinking water once a day for 5 days. Card inflammation in the evening (black bag, 400 jin of water / bag), according to the amount of drinking water throughout the day, concentrated drinking water once a day. At the same time, toad poison (100 jin material / bag) soaked in boiling water for 30 minutes and then concentrated mixing. Continuous use for 3-5 days, for the peak of death, four days can effectively control the disease.

3. Comprehensive prevention and control

The source of ① chicken seedlings should be well controlled, especially the purification of breeding farms and the disinfection of breeding eggs must be in accordance with scientific and sound processes and systems.

② should strengthen feeding management, do a good job in vaccine prevention, disinfect environment and drinking water, control sanitation, humidity and temperature according to scientific feeding and management requirements, and vaccinate poultry to create a good growth environment to eliminate the inducement of disease.

③ chooses good pure traditional Chinese medicine for corresponding prevention to reduce the damage of western medicine to the gastrointestinal tract of poultry and the infection of Escherichia coli and mycoplasma. In a word, prevention is more important than cure, and improving the scientific concept of feeding and management of farmers is the foundation to control the high incidence of this kind of epidemic disease.
