The temperature and the temperature difference between day and night vary greatly in early winter. in order to ensure a warm and comfortable living environment, improve the production performance and reduce the occurrence of diseases, it is necessary to control the temperature, humidity, ventilation and other conditions of the chicken house.

Temperature

The temperature in the house should be kept at 18-23 ℃, and the lowest temperature should not be lower than 15 ℃. If you encounter windy weather, you should shake the tarp (shake half or all of it according to the change of external temperature) to prevent the temperature in the house from plummeting. Adjust the size of the air intake every day according to the weather and the performance of the flock. The air inlet should use wire or rope to fix the plastic sheet and plywood firmly, so that the wind blows upward, do not let the cold wind blow chickens directly, to prevent cold stress from causing disease in chickens. Do not open the wind window facing the temperature controller to prevent the cold wind from blowing directly into the temperature controller. The exhaust fan can not be opened, which can easily cause dirty air in the chicken house. When installing the timing temperature control exhaust fan, choose the louver complete, do not choose the north exhaust fan. Clean up the dust of the heater before winter and let the leaves parallel when the heater is first turned on, so that the hot air fills the chicken coop evenly. Do not open the door of the workshop and the door of the chicken house at the same time to prevent the cold wind from blowing directly into the chicken house. Observe the flock carefully every day. If the chicken is lying on the scaffolding and its back hair is erect, it means that it is too cold in the henhouse. It is necessary to adjust the air intake, block the air leakage, prevent stress and make the chickens catch a cold. Watch the weather forecast every day and take precautions in advance.

Ventilation

It is better to have fresh air and slow air flow in the early winter. Repair the areas that should not enter the wind before winter, especially the air leakage at the exhaust fan, so as to prevent the chicken house from being ventilated as a whole and the temperature near the exhaust fan on the low side, causing disease in the chicken flock and affecting production. When the smell of ammonia in the house is strong, the temperature in the house should be increased first, and then the ventilation rate should be increased. When the air in the house is relatively dirty in the morning, if the ventilation volume must be increased, it should be increased gradually, preferably when the temperature is higher at noon. Each ventilation time can be shorter, ventilation times can be more. Do not leave a dead corner when ventilating. If you want to increase the number of exhaust fans, carefully observe the performance of the chickens after the increase, and proceed again without adverse reactions.

Humidity

Add enough bedding before the beginning of winter. Winter cushion material is relatively dry, should often sprinkle water or spray disinfection. If there is stagnant water under the scaffolding, release the water under the scaffolding when the temperature is high in autumn, and then sprinkle it with white ash. When the temperature in the house is suitable, the ventilation rate should be increased. Lower the water pressure of the nipple water line to less than 10 cm, or the water level of the drinking fountain to less than 1 cm. The drinking line should be checked frequently, and the nipple joints with leaking water in the drinking fountain should be replaced or repaired immediately. If the drinking fountain leakage should be dealt with in time, to prevent excessive ammonia smell in the henhouse caused by leakage, affecting the health of chickens.
