Key points of feeding technique

Before laying eggs should be selected according to the standard of body shape and weight of breeder ducks. Generally, the weight of female Muscovy duck is 2.5kg to 3.0kg, and that of male duck of the same age is 4.0kg to 4.5kg, and the excess male Muscovy duck is eliminated according to the male-female ratio of 1 ∶ 4 to 5. Breed ducks were raised in groups with a breeding density of 3 million ducks per square meter and 300 ducks per square meter. The duck house should be ventilated, the playground should be very good, and there should be shady weeds. During the laying period, the crude protein requirement of breeding Muscovy duck was higher than that of reserve Muscovy duck, which was fed three times a day.

Key points of management technology

1. Reasonable grouping. When Muscovy ducks are reared in captivity, the breed, age and weight of muscovy ducks should be the same, so as to prevent the mixing of strong and weak.

2. Four seasons management of keeping Muscovy duck in captivity. Corresponding management measures should be taken according to the climate change of the four seasons.

In the spring of ①, the weather is getting warmer, and it is the peak season for female muscovy ducks, and all kinds of microbes are easy to breed. Therefore, during this period, the enclosure should be thoroughly disinfected and the bedding should be cleaned to reduce the chance of disease. At the same time, it is necessary to feed a diet high in protein and energy to ensure that the mother ducks enter the high-yield period as quickly as possible. The egg laying rate in spring should be about 85% or 90%.

② summer, the main task is to prevent heat and cool down, can build a shady Arbor on the playground, feed more in the morning and evening, feed less at noon, and constantly provide clean drinking water. The laying rate should be kept at 75% to 80% this season. In addition, special attention should be paid to the impact of typhoons and thunderstorms on ducks. Generally, the laying rate of ducks on the eve of and after typhoons is 3040% lower than normal, and it takes 7 to 10 days to recover. Storms also have a great impact on duck production, but can return to normal in 2 or 3 days.

In ③ autumn, the laying rate begins to decline in mid-late September. When the laying rate is about 30%, forced molting can be carried out. After a month or so, Muscovy ducks begin to lay eggs again, which is the second egg-laying period of the year. As long as the dietary level meets the requirements, the laying rate can remain above 75% in this season until January of the following year.

④ winter, mainly cold and heat preservation, muscovy ducks are relatively afraid of cold, sunny weather, ducks should be allowed to move on the playground; nutrition to maintain appropriate, so that ducks will not be too thin during the winter, laying a good foundation for spring laying.

3. Management of different laying periods

The key points in the early and early stages of ① laying are to improve the feed quality, appropriately increase the feeding times, and push the laying rate to the peak as soon as possible.

② ensures high and stable yield in the middle stage of egg laying. It should be noted that the nutrient concentration of feed is higher than that of the previous stage, the light is stable and the daily operation procedure is fixed, and the temperature is between 10 ℃ and 30 ℃.

In the later stage of egg production, ③ determined the feed supply according to body weight and laying rate, promoted exercise with more release and less clearance, kept the environment stable, and added cod liver oil and inorganic salt additives appropriately.

4. Daily management

There are all kinds of bacteria in the surrounding environment, so we should take a series of measures to prevent bacteria from entering the duck house, protect the ducks from infection, and keep the open space clean and flat. All kinds of sewage and feces must be discharged to the designated place through the sewerage system, the truck transporting feed should be unloaded in a special warehouse, and the silo should be disinfected once every 3 months. To keep the production area absolutely clean, the floor of the duck house should be cleaned every time the cushion is changed. After the conversion, the duck house should be disinfected once, and the vehicles entering the field area should be disinfected in the disinfection pool with disinfectant, and the roads in the field area should be cleaned and disinfected once a week. The management of ducks follows the order that ducklings are first ducklings, then adult ducklings and then disposed of diseased ducks. Dust should be removed regularly and the cushion should be kept dry. Disinfect the pipes of the water supply system with iodine solution every two weeks, and the drinking water should also be disinfected. Do not pile eggs in a humid and hot environment, clean up dirty eggs every day, do not let them pass through the passageway of the egg storage area, do not let them pass through the passageway of the egg storage area, dead ducks should be burned in time. Other poultry shall not be kept in the duck farm to prevent other wild animals from entering the duck farm, especially rats.
