Preparation of Meat Duck Feed

In order to ensure that meat ducks can not only grow and develop normally but also give full play to their genetic potential, feed should be prepared according to their different physiological stages and nutritional requirements.

1. Feed raw materials: the selected feed raw materials should be adequate in source, reliable in quality and in line with the national feed hygiene standards.

2. Scientific preparation: attention should be paid to the feeding mode, living environment, food source structure, nutritional characteristics and production performance of meat ducks. If the meat duck is raised by grazing, its growth rate is slow, the feed should be prepared according to the nutritional characteristics of the food obtained by grazing, in order to improve the feeding effect and reduce the feeding cost. The specific feed formula is.

① ducklings feed (%): corn 50, vegetable cake 20, broken rice 10, wheat bran 10, fish meal 7.5, meat meal 1, shell meal 1, salt 0.5.

② duck and fattening feed (%): corn 50, wheat 17, wheat bran 12, broken rice 10, vegetable cake 5, fish meal 4.5, shell meal 1, salt 0.5.

3. Good palatability: the palatability of the feed is good, the nutrients are easy to be stable and easy to store. Whether the feed is prepared manually or machined, the final feed products should be mixed evenly.

4. Prohibit the use of prohibited drugs: especially in the feed of meat ducks in the later growth stage, it is forbidden to use any pharmaceutical feed additives to ensure the safety of duck products.

Preparation of Feed for laying Duck

1. Feed raw materials: the formula should be easy to operate when selecting raw materials. It is required that the quality of feed raw materials is stable, the quantity is sufficient, the price is suitable, and has the advantage of local resources.

2. Suitable nutrition: the suitable nutrient concentration of formula feed should be determined according to the age and feed intake of laying duck. The reference formula is:

① egg duckling (1-8 weeks): corn 58.7%, soybean meal 26%, rapeseed meal or cottonseed meal 7%, stone powder 4% (bone powder or shell powder), special pre-6 premix 4%, salt 0.3%. In the first week, ducklings are recommended to be fed with full-price pellet feed.

② egg duck (8 weeks to start production): corn 64%, soybean meal 16%, rapeseed meal or cottonseed meal 6%, stone powder 9.7% (bone meal or shell powder), special pre-6 premix 4%, salt 0.3%, Kinsevir appropriate amount.

③ laying duck: corn 51%, soybean meal 22%, rapeseed meal or cottonseed meal 3%, secondary powder 10%, stone powder 9.7% (both bone powder and shell powder), special pre-6 premix 4%, salt 0.3%.

3. Use additives: the main components of additives are amino acids, vitamins and minerals. The data confirmed that when 80 grams of methionine and 50 grams of lysine were added to the diet of 50 kg laying ducks, the fish meal decreased from about 4 kg to about 2 kg, but the egg production and egg weight were not affected. Vitamin additives can completely replace the nutritional function of green feed, which can not only supplement vitamins, but also save a lot of green feed, reduce the labor intensity of duck farmers and reduce the production cost of raising ducks.

4. The feed should be kept fresh: in order to prevent the feed from mildew and deterioration, the feed should be stored in a dry place and should not be stored in the duck house.
