Liao Rongqing, director of agriculture of New Taipei City, and artist Chen Meifeng specially visited the farmers' association in Shimen District to personally participate in packing rice dumplings and experience the hardship of housekeeping mothers.

Because Shimen District is located near the sea, meat dumplings are a necessary food for local fishermen when they get on board for work because they are easy to carry, edible and nutritious. Eighteen meat dumplings are also popular in the local Eighteen King Temple as sacrificial offerings, so Shimen meat dumplings are famous.

Shimen District Farmers' Association established the meat dumpling selling department "Tian Mama Beihai Post Station" in 2001, and the main members are the local housekeeping class mothers; under the guidance and subsidy of the Agriculture Bureau of the New Northern Municipal Government for many years, "Shi Nong Meat dumplings" won the highest ISO22000 food safety certification in 2007, and passed the HACCP certification, and the ingredients also insist on the selection of products in line with the CAS certification. In order to let more people taste the good taste of Shinong meat dumplings, the New Taipei City government has also assisted in the promotion and marketing work. "Shinong meat dumplings" has become well-known and recognized by the public in recent years.

Shinong meat dumplings mainly featured "ancient early flavor dumplings", in order to let consumers aftertaste the nostalgic ancient flavor, choose stewed Wuhua pork, with full-scented Taiwan shiitake mushrooms, peanuts and golden hook shrimp, and finally add golden egg yolk, is the signature taste here. "Taro-fragrant cherry shrimp dumplings" is to fry Jinshan taro and cherry shrimp oil into steamed round glutinous rice and match the roasted golden egg yolk, creating a good taste for Shanzhen to meet with seafood.
