Causes of salt poisoning

Accidentally eating (drinking) feed containing too much salt (drinking water) will cause salt poisoning.

Clinical symptoms of salt poisoning

The sick duck has loss of appetite, increased thirst, mucus from mouth and nose, mental fatigue, weak feet, difficulty in movement, often paralysis, dyspnea and uneasy singing.

Prevention and treatment of salt poisoning

Immediately stop feeding salty feed and drinking water, give sweetened clean drinking water, and feed more green feed.
