Preparation and feeding of meat goose feed

Modulation method

1. Crushing: fodder such as rice, wheat, broad bean and corn is not easy to be digested and absorbed because of its hard shell and epidermis, especially for goslings with poor digestive function. Therefore, it must be crushed or ground before feeding, but it should not be crushed too fine, otherwise it is not conducive to feeding and swallowing, it is generally appropriate to crush into small particles.

2. Chopping: fresh green feed contains more vitamins and is easy to be damaged when cooking, so it should be washed, chopped and fed. Green feed cut into shreds or strips, cut and fed, should not be put for a long time, so as not to deteriorate.

3, soaking: the harder cereals, such as corn, wheat and rice, are softened by soaking, and geese are more fond of eating and digesting. In particular, the broken rice eaten by goslings must be soaked for 1 hour before it can be fed to facilitate digestion, but the soaking time should not be too long, otherwise it will cause feed deterioration. Bran feed should be wet and fed to prevent flying, reduce waste, improve palatability and increase the feed intake of geese.

4. Cooking: millet, root tuber and melon feed, such as corn, wheat, sweet potato, carrot, etc., such as feeding after cooking can greatly improve palatability and digestibility.

Feeding method

1. Mix wet material: dry powder can be wet with water, but not too wet or too dry, too wet and sticky, too dry to swallow.

2. Semi-fluid material: the dry powder is adjusted into semi-fluidity by adding water, which is not only easy to digest, but also conducive to fattening.

3. Pellet feed: feeding geese with pellet feed processed by granule machine has the advantages of good palatability, less waste and high benefit, but attention must be paid to replenishing drinking water.
