56-year-old Pu Fu-mei says that since she was a child, she longed for Chinese literature and worked as a Chinese teacher at Forest High School. For more than 20 years, she is more certain that she loves education, school, and students, and is determined not to marry for the rest of her life.

She said that when she was young, there were suitors who talked about marriage, who refused to propose six times a year, making it clear that they did not want to join the family and should concentrate on education. "I want to give love to my children without reservation."

Pu Fumi arrives at school at 06:30 every morning to sort out books and prepare lessons. There are more than 50 books, including "exploring the Origin of Classical idioms,"appreciation of Poetry," and "Grand View of Writing Test in Junior High School," which are only given away but not sold. Twelve years ago, Pu Fumi suffered from diabetes and needed long-term insulin and medication. "it doesn't matter to me if I'm sick or not," she said. "what I have to do is still going to be done."

Pu Fumi says that education is her goal in life since she was a child. "I can't think of a better job than being able to do the job I like and someone who pays you a high salary."

Pu Fumi is also a member of the "Tree Student Love Foundation". She has long supported poor students and set up a personal teaching website.
