(Taiwan Business Daily News) in order to meet the hydrophilic needs of residents in Sanzikeng area of Ruifang, the New Taipei City Government has built a 360-meter-long riparian landscape trail from Ruifeng Bridge on the Keelung River to Ruifang Middle School, which not only provides space for local people to rest and exercise, but also will become a new stronghold for tourists.

In the past, in order to prevent the perennial flood of the Keelung River, Sanzikeng District, Ruifang District, New Taipei City, set up wave dissipation blocks along the riverside to slow down river erosion, but after the completion of flood diversion in Jinshanzi in 1991, there was no flooding in the area. in order to activate and reuse the top space of the original wave absorbing blocks, the High Beach Project Management Office of the New Taipei City Government planned to preserve the local natural landscape and set up hydrophilic trails in the existing environment. And repair the steps to set up handrails, anti-skid bars and other safety facilities, so that people can safely rest and walk in the riverside space, and enjoy the egret and Keelung River ecological landscape at a closer distance.

The project started in February 103, and local residents are looking forward to the early completion of the project. During the project, the senior management office also actively overcame the rainy disadvantage in Ruifang area and completed it one month ahead of schedule. At that time, members of the public are welcome to visit the ecological hydrophilic trail on the upper reaches of the Keelung River.
