In order to get better benefit in raising ricefield eel, we must raise eel by ourselves. The breeding technology of Monopterus Albus is very difficult. In practice, the author has explored several key measures to increase the fecundity of Monopterus Albus.

Create a good environment

Plant water plants such as rice, water lotus and water peanuts in the yellow eel pond, and put some stones and bricks at the bottom of the pond to simulate the natural ecological environment to facilitate the spawning of rice eel.

Adjust the water quality and water level

The water of the culture pond of Monopterus Albus must be non-toxic river, lake or groundwater, the pH value should be between 6, 2 and 7, 8, the water depth should be 20cm~30cm, and the new pool should be dealkalized.

Stocking density should be appropriate

The parents of Monopterus Albus should be moderate, it is best to choose 100g~150g Monopterus Albus as the spawning parent eel, the ratio of female to male is 1 ∶ 3: 4, and the stocking density is about 10 eels per square meter.

Feed should be reasonable.

The breeding season of pro-ricefield eel is from April to September, feed with high protein feed, such as fish paste, earthworms, etc., together with full-price formula feed for pro-ricefield eel. After being fed with high-protein diet, sexually mature rice field eel will lay eggs in 5 to 7 days. The eggs are laid by grass or stone. As long as there is white foam, they will lay eggs.

Master the temperature of the water

During the spawning season, the pool should be patrolled every morning and the ovaries with white foam should be gently moved to the incubator and hatched with micro-running water. After inhalation, the fertilized egg expands to about 4mm, and the hatching time varies with the temperature of the water, generally 1 ~ 7 days. When the water temperature is 25 ℃, it can be completed in 6 days. After hatching at 28 ℃ for about 10 days, the body length reached 26mm, and the yolk sac did not disappear completely; after 7 ~ 10 days, the yolk sac would be completely collected and began to feed on plankton in the water, and a small amount of small water earthworms could be fed. After 35 days or so, when the young eel grows to 5cm~6cm, it can be put into the breeding pond and must be put into separate sizes.

Fixed time and quantitative feeding

Whether it is the spawning parent ricefield eel or the newly hatched seedlings, they should be fed regularly and quantitatively. The spawning eel was fed twice a day, once at about 8: 00 in the morning and around 6: 00 in the afternoon, each of which was 2% to 3% of the total body weight of the parent rice field eel. The seedlings were fed once a day from 5: 00 p.m. to 7: 00 p.m.
