Eel ponds should be located in places where there are sufficient water sources, no pollution, no floods, and sunrise all the year round. The density of the installed cage generally accounts for 20% of the water surface, with a distance of about 1 meter, a row spacing of about 1-2 meters, and a distance of 10-15 meters from the shore. The depth of the cage is between 30 and 80 inches, the height of the effluent is not less than 50 inches, and the bottom should not come into contact with the sediment. Large piles are placed on the shore to straighten the iron wire, and every 3-4 cages in the water are fixed with small piles. the cages on the limelight need to be fixed at the bottom, and it is best to hang the four corners in the water with stones.

At the same time, aquatic plants such as water peanut, water hyacinth and oil grass are placed in the cage to perch and purify the water quality of Monopterus Albus. The water plant is laid about 20 days before the eel seedling is put, and the part on the surface of the water peanut is cut and put in the cage. The water peanut should be removed and washed, and disinfected and insecticidal treatment to prevent the introduction of parasites and bacteria. According to the size of the cage, the aquatic plants are laid about 1-2 square meters, the 20cm is thick, and the thickness is uniform, square or circular. There is no empty water surface in the middle of the aquatic plants, and there is no "tail" around.
