What kind of food does Loach eat?

Loach often come out at night to prey on plankton, aquatic insects, crustaceans, aquatic higher plant detritus and algae, and sometimes take water bottom humus or mud residue. During artificial culture, the kinds of bait fed are fly maggots, fish meal, pig blood meal, silkworm pupa meal, rice bran, wheat bran, vegetable cake and so on.

Soybean meal 20%, secondary powder 6%, wheat meal 12%, fish meal 26%, silkworm pupa feed 29%, blood meal 3%, bone meal 1%, adhesive 3%. Artificial formula feed can not be fed directly to Loach, it needs to go through a process of domestication. During artificial feeding, 65% of the special feed can be added to the fresh clam pulp and 35% can be fully stirred into dough by blender or by hand, and then pressed into a soft strip bait with a diameter of 3mm and a length of 3mm by a 3mm mold grinder, which can be fed by slightly air-drying.

1. Cereal: cereal feed is generally called energy feed, including rice, wheat, corn, sorghum and so on.

2. Meal: meal feed is generally called plant protein feed, including bean cake (protein content 40-46%), peanut cake (protein content 45%), sesame cake (protein content 40%).

3. Animals: animal protein feed resources include fish meal, clams, snails and fly pupae.

4. Additives: Misgurnus anguillicaudatus feed is supplemented with amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts, fatty acids, antibiotics, hormones, anti-mildew agents, disease prevention agents, antioxidants, food attractants, adhesives, anti-floating agents and softeners.
