Xu Xuming can save everything when controlling costs, that is, the production equipment must buy the best, for the sake of quality, but also for the safety of employees. A senior employee recalled that 36 years ago, when Dibao began to build the corporate headquarters of nearly 10, 5300 square meters, the factory that bought new and advanced equipment was the first to be completed, and the office area could only live in the basement that had just been completed. not to mention the conference room, there is not even a place for customers to sit down, which shows the chairman's emphasis on technology. Taking Yongkang's soon-to-be-completed R & D center as an example, in order to provide a better environment for employees, he specially asked designers to design a multi-functional sky garden with badminton courts, billiard courts, indoor gyms and cafes, plus a Baroque appearance, which is to enable employees to have a good working environment and increase centripetal force.

For many years, Xu Xuming either studied the production process in the factory every day, or went outside to learn innovative production methods, and brought it back to the factory for experiment. all processes could be self-made and not outsourced as far as possible, so as to keep abreast of the production progress at the first time and adjust at any time according to market dynamics.

Every time he sees an employee, Xu Xuming likes to ask "is it possible to shorten the production time", "can the cost be reduced", and "have you designed more innovative headlight products?" It is not easy to put pressure on the shoulders of colleagues in the production department.

Although today Dibao Industry is a Dibao Group with five subsidiaries, Xu Xuming often stays in various production plants to observe and think about a better production mode. Dibao's employees all said, "when it comes to technology, you can't fool him."

The two main growth drivers of Dibao come from the AM market in Europe and the United States (After Market, non-original lights for after-sale maintenance) and the OEM market in mainland China (Original Equipment).

Manufacturing, cooperate with the original factory to design and manufacture the headlights for new cars. After more than 30 years of efforts, Dibao has established a competitive threshold for after-sales service market, including nearly 40% of the market share in North America.

However, Chairman Xu Xuming has no hesitation in setting up new production lines and investment in new moulds, and is committed to creating the most complete product line. Casually opening a catalogue of Dibao's products has 3,000 or 4,000 kinds of headlights, which are jokingly called "headlight database" by the industry. Xu Ximing also actively requires that the products can pass the quality test certification of European ECE (Economic Commission for Europe) and American SAE (American Association of Automotive Engineers), and establish a high-quality brand image, which is separated from the same industry, so that today, both European and American maintenance shops can specify to buy Dibao car lamps that are "comparable to the original factory". Dibao has innovated its production mode for many times, constantly trying various process designs and maintaining a high gross profit margin, making it the most competitive product type under its brand today.

Xu Xuming is a "man of temperament". In the years of business operation, he still keeps his promise and holds the philosophy that "others can fail me, but I live up to others" and let his business run with the help of "dignitaries" everywhere. For example, in the early days of the company, due to the lack of funds, there were dignitaries to support each other; when the performance was on the low side, there were dignitaries to help, and orders followed. He said that this is the "blessed reward" of keeping promises.

Xu Xuming said that Dibao's headlights have been sold all over the world, but not to the South and North Pole.
