In the case of water but not suitable to build a pond, you can use wooden boxes to cultivate Loach, raising for half a year can be harvested, each box of Loach 15 kilograms, the following Guizhou agricultural network editor to introduce Loach wooden box culture technology for everyone!

Wooden box making

The specification is 1 m x 1 m x 1.5 m, and the space capacity is 1.5 m 3. One side or both sides are provided with a diameter of 3 cm and 4 cm in diameter at the injection and discharge outlet, and a metal mesh of 2 mm is installed. Fill the bottom of the box with manure, soil (or a layer of straw and a layer of soil), and the top layer is soil, keeping the water depth of the box about 30cm to 50cm. The wooden box can be placed in the sunny running water so that the water can flow in through one hole and discharged from the other hole. Several boxes can be linked together for joint production.

Stocking density

Each box can hold more than 3 centimeters of Loach species 1 kilogram.

Feeding and management

Misgurnus anguillicaudatus is an omnivorous fish. Loach is cultivated in wooden boxes and mainly by artificial bait. Bait has fish meal, animal offal, pig blood meal, bean cake, wheat bran, sauce lees, rapeseed cake and other plant bait. The compound diet is composed of 50% wheat flour, 20% soybean cake powder, 10% rice bran powder, 10% fish meal or silkworm pupa powder, 7% blood meal and 3% yeast powder. The compound feed is kneaded into ball bait with water, and the feeding amount is 1% or 2% of the body weight of Loach in the box. Misgurnus anguillicaudatus appetite and water temperature, according to the season and temperature to adjust the proportion and feeding amount of animal and plant food, when the water temperature is below 20 ℃, plant food should account for 60% of the total. When the water temperature is 23 ℃ ~ 28 ℃, plant bait should account for 30% and 40%. They are usually fed twice a day, 70% of the day's feed at 7: 8 a.m. and 30% at 1: 2 p.m. When the water temperature starts eating at 15 ℃, the amount of feeding increases gradually with the increase of temperature, generally 7%-8%. If the water temperature is higher than 30 ℃ or lower than 10 ℃, you should throw less or stop eating.

Loach disease prevention and treatment

In order to prevent the occurrence of Loach disease, quicklime and bleach were used to disinfect the box regularly while ensuring the quantity and quality of bait. Once intestinal disease is found, 20 grams of dysentery can be put into 10 kg of bait and fed twice a day for 3 to 5 days. Red fin disease does great harm to Misgurnus anguillicaudatus. After Misgurnus anguillicaudatus is infected with this disease, the fin, abdominal skin and anus are congested, ulcerated, caudal fin and pectoral fin turn white and rot. As soon as the disease is found, the Loach should be soaked in 0.1max 10000 tetracycline solution for 1hour or bathed with 0.2max 10000 concentration of dysentery for 24 hours. Or mix the furanes with 0.04% (the proportion of the drug to the body weight of the fish) and feed it for 3 days. If water mildew is found, the diseased Loach can be washed for 5 minutes with 4% salt water or 20 minutes with 4 × 10 Mel 6 copper sulfate solution for 30 minutes. If parasitic disease is found, it can be sprayed with 0.7 × 10 ~ (6) copper sulfate and ferrous sulfate (both 5 ∶ 2) to control rotifer and tongue cup disease.

Matters needing attention

When it rains, it is necessary to prevent the box water from overflowing, causing the Loach to escape, and to prevent the water contaminated by pesticides and chemical fertilizers from entering the box.
