Reconstruction of Kung Ming Elementary School East Building in Sha Luk opens
(Taiwan Business News) The east building of Kung Ming Elementary School in Shalu District was renovated with subsidies from the Ministry of Education. It was completed and opened yesterday, and the campus has taken on a new look. Wu Rong, director of Taichung City Education Bureau, expressed the hope that the completion of the new building will give Kung Ming Elementary School students a better learning environment and happy growth.
The construction of the East Building of Gongming Elementary School was assisted by Taichung City Government and Legislator Yang Qiongying to apply to the Ministry of Education. The Ministry of Education approved a subsidy of more than 70 million yuan in January 100. The Construction Bureau of Taichung City Government handled the construction of a three-story school building with an underground floor. Ground breaking began on March 12, 101. The building use license was obtained on March 21, 103. It was completed and opened today.
In the design of the building, the concept of "flipping" and "taking the sky and taking the ground" was put forward, and the overall design of the space was groundbreaking; the school building has natural lighting design, which conforms to the green building and is a modern environmental protection education building.
Director Wu of the Municipal Education Bureau said that the old school buildings have been more than 50 years old and are dangerous. Thanks to the Ministry of Education for allocating more than 70 million yuan to subsidize the construction of new school buildings. The Taichung City government has also allocated 5.5 million yuan to enrich the internal facilities. It is hoped that after the completion of the new school buildings, students will have a better learning environment and grow up happily. City Councillors Yang Dianzhong, You Biling and Shalu District Mayor Chen Xiaofei also attended the ceremony.
