(Taiwan Business News) Three projects launched by Taipei City, namely "Guide Scenic Area","Hushan Community Air-raid Shelter Reconstruction Project" and "Water-friendly Secret Land by Tai Hang Creek", participated in the 2014 National Excellent Construction Award, and won 2 Gold Awards and 1 High Quality Award.

Ho Ming-yu, head of the Forestry Recreation Section of the Geotechnical Engineering Department of Taipei City, said that last year, the "Guide Scenic Area" completed 12 zodiac rest spaces and wave spring squares among the trails. With the traditional Chinese zodiac representing different stages of life, the theme image of "Life Guide" was strengthened and lively elements were added.

Chang Chia-nan, director of the Guidebook, also says that through the lively and romantic images recently introduced, more and more young people have entered this field where religious culture originated.

The "Hushan Community Shelter Reconstruction Project" is located in Hushan, Beitou District. It is the only air-raid shelter designed with spiral stairs in Taiwan. Residents nearby nicknamed it "Atomic Bomb Shelter" or "Underground Presidential Palace". It is said that Jiang Gong inspected it once when it was completed, but it was not actually used in it.

Li Qiuxia, head of Hushan Li, said that the air-raid shelter has unique historical significance. Thanks to the help of the Earth Engineering Office, historical buildings have been activated and local tourist attractions have been created, so that the abandoned air-raid shelter will appear again for many years.

Mr Wong, Chief of the Debris Flow Prevention Division, recommended the "Hydrophilic Secret Area by Tai Hang Creek", which is located beside Lane 308, Section 2, Jiuzhuang Street, Nangang District. The "Tea Village" is the main axis, allowing people to wander on the water-side stairs and platforms, feel the "spiritual relief of water, listening to water and watching water", and enjoy the beautiful scenery of flowing water. Chang Jui-fang, head of the old Chuangli village, says that after the Tai Hang River was cleaned up with great care, not only did it reduce the number of disasters, but it also made Nankang Tea Village a place to relax.
