Cleaning and disinfection

Drain the pond in winter to remove too much silt and wild fish, then expose the pond. 15 days before stocking, keep the water depth 10cm in the pond, and sprinkle the whole pond with 150kg/ mu of quicklime to kill the pathogen.

Plant aquatic plants

In March, the pond was injected with 30cm, and the algae was cut into small pieces, about 15cm in length, and evenly inserted into the bottom of the water. Properly transplant some water peanuts, and the planting area of aquatic plants accounts for 2 × 3 of the total area of the whole pond.

Release snails

Fresh snail 200kg was released per mu 10 days before stocking.

Water injection and fertilization

One week before stocking, 50cm was injected into the pond and fermented organic fertilizer 150kg/ mu was applied to cultivate the palatable bait of crayfish after entering the pond.

Scientific mixed culture

Implement mixed culture of crayfish, mandarin fish and silver carp. Put healthy young shrimp about 50kg per mu and bathe with 3% salt water for 2-3 minutes before stocking. In addition, 80 silver carp, 40 silver carp and 20 mandarin fry with 0.25kg/ tail and 5~7cm/ tail were stocked on another mu.

Change water and increase oxygen

Add new water regularly and change the water quality. Timely start the aerator to increase live oxygen and improve water quality.

Water quality regulation

From July to September, microecological agents (such as EM bacteria, photosynthetic bacteria, etc.) were applied to accelerate the process of ammoniation and nitrification of organic matter. 15~20kg/ mu of quicklime is properly sprinkled in other months to keep the water quality fat and tender.

Scientific management

Feed is based on full-price pellet feed, with appropriate amount of bean cake, wheat bran, pumpkin and so on. In high temperature season, Chinese herbal medicine (such as Sanhuang Powder, etc.) is mixed in the feed to improve the immunity of crayfish. Bait implementation of the "four fixed (timing, quality, quantitative, positioning)" principle.
