Freshwater crayfish is a typical omnivorous animal, which not only eats grass and aquatic plants, but also cereals and animal feeds. If it is fed with pure natural organic feed, such as artificial breeding of aquatic organisms, small animals and planting aquatic plants, it is more palatable, nutritious, fresh and delicious than the purchased commercial feed, and it can avoid excessive harmful ingredients such as hormones in commercial feed. To ensure that commercial lobster is green and pollution-free, but also can save a lot of feed investment every year.

Lobster feed ratio

Crayfish culture feed proportion is generally plant food accounted for about 60%, animal food accounted for about 40%. Fruits and grasses account for half of the plant diet, about 30%. In the process of feeding, according to the actual situation of large, medium and small (young shrimp), the above animal and plant feed should be rationally matched and properly adjusted.

Animal feed

Lobster likes to eat a lot of animal feed, especially the scraps with strong fishy smell, such as dead fish, pig, cow, chicken, duck, fish sausage and so on. Snails, clams, earthworms and water earthworms in other ditches and river branches are also good live animal feeds that lobsters like to eat. of course, animal baits include dried fish, fish meal, shrimp meal, snail meal, egg pupa powder, pig blood, pig liver and lungs, and so on.

Plant bait

Plant-based bait includes phytoplankton, young parts of aquatic plants, duckweed, cereals, bean cake, rice bran, soybean flour, wheat bran, rapeseed cake, vegetable oils, brewer's grains and so on. In plant-based diets, beans are high-quality plant protein sources, especially soybeans. The crude protein content is as high as 38%-48% of dry matter, and the digestible protein content in bean cake can also reach about 40%. As a high-quality plant protein source of shrimp, not only because soybean contains high protein content and a wide range of sources, but also because its amino acid composition is similar to that of shrimp. Because soybean meal contains trypsin inhibitor, it needs to be destroyed by organic solvents and physical methods. For the larvae of cultured shrimp, soybean milk is a very important bait, which can be used together with unicellular algae, yeast and plankton to become a good comprehensive initial protein source.

Artificial compound feed

Artificial compound feed is a kind of feed made of animal food and plant food according to the nutritional requirements of freshwater crayfish, and then mixed and processed according to the formula. some minerals, vitamins and disease prevention drugs can also be added appropriately according to the needs, and particles of different sizes can be made according to different developmental stages and individual sizes of freshwater crayfish. In the feed processing technology, it must be noted that the freshwater crayfish is a chewable mouthpiece, which is different from the fish swallowing mouthparts, so the formula feed should have a certain viscosity and be made into strips or flakes to facilitate the consumption of freshwater crayfish. The formula of artificial compound feed for freshwater crayfish: the protein content of juvenile shrimp is more than 30%, and that of adult shrimp is more than 20%.

1. Juvenile shrimp feed: the crude protein content of juvenile shrimp feed is 37.4%. Various raw materials are 20% of Peruvian fish meal, 13% of fermented blood meal, 22% of bean cake, 15% of cottonseed meal, 11% of secondary meal, 9.6% of corn meal, 3% of bone meal, 2% of yeast powder, 1.3% of multivitamin premix, 0.1% of ecdysone, 3% of starch, and 0.6% of the total aquatic feed binder to increase the water resistance time of the feed.

2. Adult shrimp feed: the crude protein content of adult shrimp feed is 30.1%. The ratio of various raw materials is Peruvian fish meal 5%, fermented blood meal 10%, bean cake 30%, cottonseed cake 10%, secondary meal 25%, corn meal 10%, bone meal 5%, yeast powder 2%, multivitamin premix 1.3%, molting 0.1%, starch 1.6%. Among them, bean cake, cottonseed cake, secondary powder, corn and so on are crushed again before premixing. After granulation, it was dried for more than 2 days to prevent the feed from deteriorating, and 0.6% of the total aquatic feed adhesive was added to increase the feed water resistance time.
