Raising shrimp in rice field can improve the utilization rate of rice field and obtain higher economic benefit. Not all rice fields can be used to raise lobster. What are the conditions for raising shrimp in rice fields?

Water source and water quality conditions

The mid-season rice fields with sufficient water source, good water quality, no pollution, no drying up in the dry season, no inundation in the rainy season and good water conservation performance should be selected.

Soil and environmental conditions

It is best to choose loam fields. The bottom of the field requires fertilizer but not silting, the ridge of the field is strong, there is no leakage, and the surrounding environment of the field is quiet. In addition, it also requires easy irrigation, accessible ditches and convenient transportation.

Area condition

The area of rice fields where lobsters are raised should be large rather than small. Generally, 10-50 mu is suitable, with a large area, which is convenient for unified planning and construction, unified delivery, unified drainage and irrigation, unified feeding and fertilization, and unified management.

Topographic condition

It is best to choose the field which is the lowest in the high school and the lowest in the middle, in order to manage the water, regulate the temperature difference of the water body and the lobster overwintering.

Only rice fields that meet the above four conditions can be used to raise shrimp.
