Bank of Taiwan celebrates the 68th anniversary of pro-mountain health to protect the environment

(Taiwan Business Daily News) to celebrate the 68th anniversary of its founding, the Bank of Taiwan has specially planned a series of meaningful activities, including music and arts, public welfare bazaars and environmental protection, in order to fulfill its corporate social responsibility (CSR). In order to promote the concept of taking care of the environment in response to the drastic changes in the global climate, an environmental protection hike for employees and families was held on the pro-mountain trail of Tianmu Ancient Road on the afternoon of May 24, 2014. in addition to enhancing the deep friendship of the bank's colleagues, boosting work morale and cohesion, but also advocating colleagues and families to do environmental protection at hand, so that our living environment is cleaner and our life is better.

The pro-mountain trail of Tianmu Ancient Road is about 2.6 kilometers long. It is located on the west side of Qixing Mountain system in Shilin District and belongs to the saddle to the south of Shamaoshan. It is a branch line of the ancient Yu Road in the early years. The trail is constructed along the big water pipe. Clear streams and pristine forests can be seen everywhere, and it feels cool and comfortable during the walk. Tianmu Ancient Road was once an important connecting road between Jinshan and Tianmu. Since the opening of Yangde Road, it has become a veritable ancient road. And it is a popular mountaineering route in recent years, and it is an excellent place for people to hike, enjoy the scenery and enjoy the forest bath.

At 9: 00 a.m. on the same day, colleagues and families who actively participated, led by Li Jizhu, chairman of the bank, and Xiao Changrui, general manager of the bank, set out from the Tianmu ancient water pipe climbing pass and went up along the water pipe path. Although there were many steps, the road was shaded with dense trees, beautiful scenery, fresh air, refreshing and exhilarating, and the sound of gurgling water and birds and insects could be heard by their ears. Along the way, the mountain wall was wet, and the plants grew luxuriantly. Full of rich ecology. After getting out of the trail, turn to Aifu third Street and finally arrive at the destination-the rear operator training center of the bank.

The Bank of Taiwan has been organizing pro-mountain hikes during the May celebrations for many years, encouraging colleagues and their families to go outdoors to engage in wholesome activities, while implementing environmental protection to make the surrounding environment cleaner. With the active participation of colleagues and families, the Bank of Taiwan has fully achieved the positive significance of mountaineering, fitness and environmental protection.
