1. Reasonable bait: bait according to season, weather, water color and feeding condition. In sunny days, the water temperature is high, the water color is good, you can throw more when eating prosperous, while in cloudy days, the water temperature is low, the hot summer is stuffy, the water color is poor, eat less, and you should take less bait.

2. The bait should be collocated scientifically: the river crab is omnivorous, and the food collocation should adhere to the principle of "essence at both ends, coarse in the middle, and collocation of meat and meat" according to different growing seasons, so as to prevent the river crab from maturing prematurely and affecting the molting of the river crab.

3, uniform feeding: make bait to be fresh and palatable, feed evenly, make river crabs eat well, digest and absorb quickly, improve the utilization rate of bait, do not have a hungry meal, have a full meal, suddenly more or less, and feed once every 1-2 days. due to the difference in individual size of river crab growth, fighting for food and fighting casualties with each other, affecting the survival rate, more points can be set for uniform distribution during feeding to avoid contention for food casualties.

4. Frequently patrolling the pond: patrol the pond once every morning, noon and evening to understand the active feeding and water quality changes of river crabs and take corresponding measures to regulate and treat them as soon as possible to avoid delaying the best treatment time and affecting the growth and development of river crabs.

5. Change water frequently: especially in summer, crabs grow vigorously, feed quantity increases, metabolic wastes also increase, dissolved oxygen decreases, harmful substances content increases, water quality is eutrophication, some old water should be discharged frequently, and new water should be added to improve water quality. dilute the content of harmful substances and increase the dissolved oxygen in the water body, which is helpful for the river crab to have a good living environment.

6. Regular testing of water quality for disinfection: usually, quicklime, bleach or biological agents can be used to disinfect the water body every 30 days, and water disinfection and sterilization can be carried out every half a month in summer. The dosage of quicklime is 20 grams per cubic body of water and 1 gram of bleaching powder. after dissolving with water, the whole pool is sprinkled evenly.

7. to promote the synchronization of molting or molting, we can sprinkle calcium in the pool water before molting, calcium dihydrogen phosphate to supplement calcium and molting, promote the synchronization of river crab molting, reduce the casualties during molting, and improve the survival rate.

8. Remove the residual bait in time. Every day to remove floating weeds and floating objects in the pond, so as not to pollute the water quality, often disinfect the food field, put an end to the injection of disease sources and polluted water sources, put an end to diseased crabs littering and misplacing, and bury them deeply in time to prevent cross-infection of bacteria.
