How much are the imported American soybeans per jin in US dollars?
At present, the international common settlement currency is the US dollar, so the settlement currency used in the process of importing soybeans with the United States is also the US dollar. The current price of soybeans arriving in Hong Kong is 3320-3340 yuan per ton, that is, 1.61-162 yuan per jin. According to the current exchange rate of the US dollar against the RMB, it is 0.244 US dollars per jin.

According to a June report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the price of soybeans in the United States is 8.75 to 11.25 U.S. dollars per bushel (321.50 to 413.36 U.S. dollars per ton), or 2300 yuan per ton, or 1.15 yuan per jin at current exchange rates.
As a reference, the current price of soybean in China is 1.76 yuan per jin, which is 1.5 times that of the United States. For American soybeans, it can really be said to be the cheapest soybean in the world today, and the price is quite low.
In December 2017, Chen Xiwen, director of the Agricultural economy Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that he would promote the steps to bring China's grain prices in line with international standards. It should be said that as far as the current grain price in China is concerned, there is still a considerable gap between the current grain price in China and the international grain price. However, in today's economic globalization, we should also realize that the imposition of tariffs on American soybeans will not last for a long time, and if the market is really liberalized in the future, China's domestic soybeans will not have the slightest competitive advantage.
