Mayor Chen Ju said that eggplant has a long and beautiful coastline, and in order to enhance its safety and beauty, the city government will strengthen beach protection, thicken seawalls, create a safe water-playing field, and will choose suitable tree species to be planted in an all-round way to make the charming coast more accessible.

Chen Ju, mayor of Kaohsiung, said that eggplant has a vast sea view and the natural scenery of a simple fishing village, but there are disorderly pipelines, habitat destruction and water crisis, which must be rectified. Thanks to the division of labor between the central and local governments, the city government has also carried out bank protection and planting projects at the same time, in addition to thickening seawalls, riprap fill, and newly built offshore submerged dikes to protect the country. It will also plant saddle vines, hard exercise and other suitable tree species to reduce dust and strengthen the rest function.

Chen Ju, mayor of Kaohsiung, said that the frequent occurrence of accidents in swimming at the seaside is distressing, and it is the government's responsibility to provide safe areas for swimming. The Kaohsiung Water Conservancy Bureau pointed out that the total length of this section is 1.9 kilometers, with a project cost of about 100 million yuan, ranging from the south of the Changshou Pavilion to the seaside park. The transformation focuses on reducing facilities, rebuilding ecological green waves, building isolation belts, creating open space, connecting bike lanes, and creating a friendly seawall space, as well as tourist resources and folk activities such as lover's wharf, fishing market, and burning king ships. Eggplant will be more attractive to the sea.
