Control of Culture Environment in Bamboo Mouse House

The objectives of bamboo rat rearing are fast growth, high feed efficiency, good slaughter quality, short feeding cycle and low mortality. In bamboo rat house should consider providing bamboo rat only suitable environment, reduce feed waste, pay attention to the following points respectively.

Bamboo rat environmental temperature and humidity

Before the weight of 1kg, the appropriate temperature is 16℃~22℃; for the weight of 1- 1.5 kg, the appropriate temperature is 14℃~20℃, and the minimum temperature is not lower than 12℃; for the weight of more than 1.5 kg, the appropriate temperature is 12℃~16℃, and the minimum temperature is not lower than 10℃. If in high temperature environment should take cooling measures, relative humidity is 40%~ 70%.

Each bamboo rat has enough ground area

If the area occupied by each bamboo rat is too small, it will cause stress to the bamboo rat, which will affect the growth of the bamboo rat. Moreover, the heat emitted by each bamboo rat will cause the already hot southern summer environment to become hotter. Therefore, it is necessary to provide each bamboo rat with an appropriate ground area. Feeding density should not be too large, generally not more than 25 heads per column is appropriate. It is suggested that the ground area occupied by each bamboo rat is 1.0m2, and 10.9m2 on strip ground.

Bamboo Rat House is easy to clean

Cleaning bamboo rat house is the most time-consuming in the management of bamboo rat house, so how to reduce the washing time should be considered in the design. For example, the slope of the solid ground should be enough to allow smooth drainage, and the stripes of the ground should allow bamboo rat droppings to fall easily, and at the same time avoid hurting bamboo rat feet.

Increase feed intake of bamboo rats and reduce feed waste

The correct design of feed trough, the position of feeding trough in bamboo rat house and the ratio of feeding bamboo rats to feed trough holes all affect the feed intake and feed waste of bamboo rats. The main nutrition destination of bamboo rat:

1. After maintaining the needs, there is surplus to be used for production, i.e., fat gain. For example, taking energy as an example, the energy consumed by bamboo rats = maintenance needs + fat gain.

2. Whether you gain weight or not, you have to spend one day's maintenance consumption, and with the increase in weight, the maintenance consumption also increases relatively. Therefore, if the fattening period of bamboo rats is prolonged for no reason, a lot of feed must be used to maintain life, which is a great waste, that is to say, shortening the fattening period can save a lot of feed.

Control of harmful gases in bamboo rat houses

Timely removal of bamboo rat feces urine, bamboo rat ventilation, create a fresh air. The proper temperature and humidity, dry and comfortable conditions of bamboo rat breeding environment can make bamboo rats fully rest, maintain strong appetite of bamboo rats, reduce the incidence of bamboo rats, obtain higher weight gain rate and feed conversion rate, and create higher economic benefits.
