In our daily maintenance of potted plants, there are some ways to help flowers take root quickly, such as the most common use of plant base dipped with rooting powder, and then potted, or add more nutrients to promote plant rooting.

The above two methods are practical, but there are more reliable tips. That is to use "wicker extract" to promote plant rooting. Wicker extract, that is, cut into small pieces of wicker, after soaking, mix the leached liquid. As shown in the following figure:

Why wicker extract can promote the rooting of flowers?

This is due to the strong rooting ability of wicker, which is rich in root-promoting substances in its branch fluid, which is likely to be salicylic acid, a microsubstance that promotes the rooting and growth of plants and flowers. When the active ingredients in the wicker branches are extracted, they are poured into the flowers and plants. Under normal circumstances, the roots of the plants will absorb nutrients within half an hour.

And then it takes root. This method is called natural rooting agent, and after the exploration and attempt of many veteran flower growers, it has been persuasive in the flower circle, and even this effect is better than rooting powder.

For some potted flowers, those who propagate by cutting can be watered with wicker extract.

How to use the wicker extract: cut the wicker into 10-inch segments, wash it, put it in a basin, fill it with water and place it in a cool place, and seal it with a plastic bag for two days. Then take it out and use it. Because the concentration of natural rooting agent prepared in this way is relatively high, it is recommended that it be diluted before use, the dilution ratio is water: the wicker extract is 10:1.

In addition to rich bamboo, rose, green apple, rubber tree and other plants can be used, there are many flowers can use this method. But wicker is the most suitable material only in spring. So next spring, be sure to store some wicker branches. This rooting agent is the most effective. This is the end of the tips on the rooting of potted flowers.
