The difference of producing area between Longjing Tea and Biluochun

1. Longjing tea: Longjing tea is produced in the area of Longjing Village, West Lake, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and is subdivided into lion, dragon, cloud and tiger according to its producing area. The output of Meijiawu has been greatly improved after the Republic of China. In the past, Longjing tea was ranked according to the different quality of the five producing areas, namely, lion, dragon, cloud, tiger and plum. Longjing tea has been widely planted in Zhejiang Province after liberation, and its quality is uneven. At present, it is divided into Xihu Longjing Tea, Buddha Longjing, Qiantang Longjing and Yuezhou Longjing, with Xihu Longjing Tea having the best quality.

2. Biluochun: Biluochun is produced in East Dongting Mountain and West Dongting Mountain of Taihu Lake, Wu County, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, so it is also known as "Dongting Biluochun". Approved by the State General Administration of quality Supervision and Inspection in 2002, it has obtained the protection of products with geographical marks of origin, and tea is grown in 12 administrative villages in Xishan Town (now Jinting Town).
