Hanging orchids, fresh and tender green leaves, evergreen four seasons, flower friends can raise a few pots, display several or hang windowsill, profusion elegant, elegant and lovely. In addition, raising a pot of orchids indoors can also absorb harmful gases and make the air in the room fresh. So, how to raise the orchid so that the leaves can grow green?

In fact, hanging orchids are not difficult to raise, if you want the leaves to grow green, you only need to master a few "laws".

1. Growth law

Hanging orchids like warm, afraid of cold, good born in semi-shady, humid environment and loose, fertile soil.

2. Cultivation law

Location: cultivation of Cymbidium, moved out of the outdoor semi-shady place after spring, can also be kept in the indoor window ventilation place for a long time.

Fertilization: summer and autumn is the growing period, the organic fertilizer commonly used in green plants is applied once or twice a month, diluted 500times to irrigate roots, 1000 times to spray leaves, it can grow luxuriantly, and many stolons and small orchids can grow from the basal leaves.

Watering: the orchid is more shady and likes to grow in a damp environment. In the growing period, the basin soil should be slightly wet, but the drainage should be smooth, avoid stagnant water, otherwise the leaf tip is easy to scorch. Avoid the scorching sun and the basin soil is too dry.

Potted soil: potted orchid, the soil is not selected, generally with loose, fertile soil is better. For large plants, the basin can be turned over and the soil changed every 1-2 years. Usually pay attention to pruning, cut off the dead leaves, in order to keep the plant shape beautiful.

3. The law of leaf yellowing

If the orchid is exposed to the hot sun in summer or frost in winter, it will cause the leaf tip to scorch, thus making the whole leaf yellow and scorched. In winter, when you put it indoors against freezing and keeping warm, the basin soil should be dry and fertilizer should be suspended. If the basin soil is too wet, or poor drainage, it will also cause leaves yellowing, resulting in scorched hanging orchid. Of course, during the winter, the basin soil is too dry for a long time, and the leaves will turn yellow and scorch. Therefore, when maintaining, flower friends need to avoid exposure to the sun and freezing injury.
