Leisure agriculture is a bright spot industry in Taiwan. It is estimated that this year, the number of national tourists in leisure agriculture will reach 22.5 million and foreign tourists will reach 320000, which will create an output value of 11 billion yuan. The income of concurrently engaged in leisure farms is 4 to 5 times that of general agriculture. For example, the average income of each household engaged in processing or leisure in agriculture and animal husbandry is 1.808 million yuan, which is 5.3 times higher than that of households engaged in agriculture and animal husbandry alone, which can greatly enhance the rural economy.

Taiwan's leisure agriculture has been promoted into a Mucha sightseeing park by the Taipei City Government, the Taipei City Peasant Association and the Mucha District Peasant Association in December 1980. it has become the first sightseeing agricultural park in Taipei, providing an excellent space for leisure activities nearby for busy urban residents.
