(Taiwan Business Daily News) Textile Development will lead six textile manufacturers to attend textile exhibitions in Eastern Europe, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and other countries for the first time, which has been warmly welcomed by the local textile industry. In order to explore business opportunities in emerging markets in order to diversify the market, Textile will form a joint marketing mission for emerging markets in Central and Eastern Europe from August 24 to 29, leading six textile manufacturers to participate in the Brno STYL exhibition in the Czech Republic and extend to Asia Center in Budapest, Hungary to hold one-on-one negotiations.
This is the first time in recent years that the Textile Development Association has organized a delegation to the Czech Republic and Hungary to expand its sales. it has received great assistance from the local representative office of the Republic of China, which has attracted the attention of local textile-related units and a warm welcome from buyers.
Including the Czech Textile and Garment and Leather Association (ATOK), the Czech Industrial Textiles Association (CLUTEX), the Hungarian Textile Technology and Science Association (TMTE), the Budapest Merchant Industry Association (BKJK) and other units have expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Textile Association and took the initiative to put forward the demand for textile raw materials in Taiwan.
The Textile Association pointed out that this development has successfully established a relationship with the local industry, and has also explored the demand for outdoor sports, household and industrial textiles in the Central and Eastern European markets, which is estimated to bring at least US $1.5 million in business opportunities in the coming year.
In order to enhance the marketing efficiency of the Taiwan pavilion, there are a number of advertisements inside and outside the exhibition hall to greatly increase the exposure of the Taiwan pavilion, and two days before the exhibition with buyers interactive friendship activities, take the initiative to market the characteristics of Taiwan textile products, effectively attract buyers to come to visit and negotiate.
In the part of the Hungarian Business Fair, Textuo will match the product information of Taiwan participants in advance through local institutions and associations in Hungary, arranging nearly 60 one-on-one negotiations, with an actual visit rate of nearly 90%. And there are buyers who make on-site purchases or clearly express their willingness to cooperate.
The Textile Association stressed that due to geopolitical relations, Hungary can be linked to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, as well as Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and other countries in the southern Balkans. Buyers in Central and Eastern Europe are very concerned about quality and have a very good impression of Taiwanese products. Although the process of establishing a business relationship between the two sides is slow, once the relationship is established, it will be very long-lasting and stable.
