(Taiwan Business Daily News) the Taiwan boutique exhibition, organized by the Foreign Trade Association entrusted by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, was held in London yesterday, including Youxun, HTC, and other 51 manufacturers, displaying more than 150 products that won this year's Taiwan Fine goods Award. High-quality and user-friendly designs have been praised by visitors.

Lu Wenrui, director of the Taiwan Trade Center in London, said that this is the second time that the Taiwan Trade Center has held a Taiwan boutique exhibition in London. Compared with the scale of the first exhibition at the 2012 London Olympic Games, the number of participating manufacturers and goods has doubled, because London is an important international city and an important springboard to enter new markets. Taiwan has a lot of good goods, but British consumers do not know and hope to take advantage of this exhibition. It can be introduced and promoted to British consumers so that MIT products can be integrated into their lives.

Lu Wenrui said: after Chinese mainland and Japan, Taiwan is the third largest country for export goods to the United Kingdom. Last year, the total value of Taiwan's exports to Britain reached 5.4 billion US dollars. The goods participating in the exhibition include bicycles, electronic and information products, medical equipment and personalized high-tech goods, which can be used not only in industry and commerce, but also in daily life, and can very much meet the needs of the British market.

Before the launch of the Taiwan Trade Center at the famous Westfield Shepherd Bush Shopping Center in central London on the 3rd, it held a press conference, invited major British science and technology and consumer journalists to experience it, and invited famous British comedian Tom Scott as the host to arrange for members of the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform live Taiwan's famous music "Gaoshan Qing" and "looking forward to Spring breeze". The scene was very enthusiastic.

Liu Zhichong, representative to Britain, said: Britain is an important trading partner of Taiwan, with bilateral trade volume reaching 7.31 billion US dollars last year. Britain is Taiwan's third largest trading partner in Europe, and Taiwan is Britain's ninth largest market in Asia. The Taiwan award-winning products on display this time have outstanding performance in research and development, design, quality and marketing, and more importantly, they are all Made in Taiwan.
