Variety classification of figs

1. The flesh is reddish brown, containing more than 16% soluble solids, sweet and fragrant. This variety has moderate tree potential, semi-open posture, dwarf tree body, weak branches, strong continuous fruiting ability, low yield, cold tolerance and strong salt tolerance.

2. Penglai persimmon: special species for autumn fruit, but very few summer fruit. The autumn fruit is inverted vertebra-shaped or oval, the top of the fruit is round and slightly flat and easy to crack, the single fruit weighs 60-70g, the pericarp is thick, purplish red; the flesh is bright red, containing 16% soluble solids, sweet, but thick, without aroma. The tree strength of this variety is extremely strong, the tree posture is upright, and the crown is tall and growing vigorously. Sparse branches, long and stout branches, good cold resistance.

3. Green bark: both summer and autumn fruit species, mainly autumn fruit. The autumn fruit is in the shape of inverted vertebrae, the single fruit weighs 60-80g, the maximum is more than 120g, the fruit is light green when ripe, the top of the fruit does not crack, but the fruit shoulder is cracked, the pulp is purplish red, hollow, contains more than 16% of soluble solids, and the flavor is excellent. The tree is vigorous, the tree posture is half-open, the branches are stout, the branches are few, the cold resistance is medium, the disease resistance is strong and the salt tolerance is strong.
