Can cockroaches fly? In fact, most cockroaches can not fly, only glide, and gliding is very unstable, it is better to run, you know, cockroaches run very fast, and cockroaches have adapted to life on the ground, the reason why their body is very flat, is easy to get into the cracks.

In fact, most cockroaches are crawling insects (some cockroaches have degraded or very short wings). Their front wings are leathery, hard and only protective, but their hind wings are thin and suitable for flying, so some cockroaches fly only when they are disturbed or moved over long distances or when males pursue female cockroaches.

Cockroaches are flat, dark brown, usually of medium size, small head, moveable, filamentous antennae, well-developed compound eyes, flat wings, leathery hind wings, membranous front and back wings, covering the back of the abdomen, some species have no wings, are not good at flying, can walk quickly, are not completely abnormal, and lay eggs in the egg sheath, about 6000 species, mainly distributed in the tropics and subtropics, living in the field or indoors.
