[Efficacy] Activating blood circulation to disperse blood stasis, soothing liver and invigorating spleen, expelling wind and activating collaterals, sweating and diuresis, indicated for traumatic injury, acute viral hepatitis, rheumatic pain, dislocation, fracture, nephritis edema, beriberi edema and urticaria.

Pharmacological Action of Chinese Herbs

1. Analgesic effect: Luying decoction 70,120,140 g/kg oral administration, hot plate test on mice showed that there is analgesic effect, its analgesic components in vivo half-life is 3.9 hours.

2, anti-liver injury: Luying component ursolic acid 100 mg/kg subcutaneous injection, experimental liver injury in rats has a protective effect, so that the triglyceride content in the liver is reduced, and reduce liver cell degeneration and necrosis.

3. Other effects: Luying Decoction 5g/kg by gastric perfusion and external application with wine, has the effects of activating blood circulation, dispersing blood stasis, increasing phosphorus absorption and promoting callus ossification in experimental fracture rabbits.

Clinical application of Lu Ying

1. The method for treating rheumatoid arthritis is to use 15 grams of Luying root, 15 grams of Tiger thorn root, 15 grams of wild buckwheat root and 6 grams of Kadsuriandra root. Addition and subtraction: add cassia twig 10g and acanthopanax bark 15g for hand pain. 10g of achyranthes root and 10g of polygonum diaozhu root are added for pain, one dose per day, decocted in water for 3 times, and a proper amount of white wine is mixed for each time, and every 6 days is a course of treatment.
