When Germany carried out industrial 4.0, the focus was on training talents in technical and vocational education.

In response to the development trend of Industry 4.0, the Industry Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of China has put forward the "Science and Technology Development Plan of Productivity 4.0", strengthened industry-university cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology, and trained 4.0 talents of productive forces jointly with the Ministry of Education. Therefore, Taiwan's Industry 4.0 will integrate machinery, electrical and electronics, information network, management, creative design and manufacturing and other industries to cultivate cross-disciplinary talents.

In his speech, President GE Zixiang of Longhua University of Science and Technology first welcomed the visit of Yan Hongsen, the political commissar of the Executive Yuan, and the warm participation of people from the industrial and educational circles, hoping that through the horizontal integration and connection among various industries, combined with technical and vocational education, starting from taking root to train cross-disciplinary talents, we will create another peak of economic development in the future era of Industrial 4.0.

First of all, under the title of "Science and Technology Policy and Productivity 4.0," Administrative Councillor Yan Hongsen of the Executive Yuan first expounded the blueprint of the country's overall science and technology policy plan, explaining that Taiwan's version of Industry 4.0 is the productivity 4.0 being promoted by the government. and let the people have a sense of the development and implementation of science and technology policies in the future. At the same time, political Commissar Yan also pointed out that the future decline in Taiwan's population is an opportunity rather than a crisis, which can make people think about how Taiwan will develop into a small and beautiful technological country in the future.

Next on the stage is Manager Fan of Siemens, sharing the experience of Siemens in promoting Industrial 4.0, emphasizing that Industrial 4.0 needs to be adjusted from design to after-sales service in order to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.

Then, Professor Chen Zhengxiong of ZTE University has a complete discussion on how to transform "intelligent multi-axis composite processing technology" into an intelligent chemical factory under the industrial 4.0 trend, and summarizes that the future development trend of the factory will be digitization and intelligence.

Finally, Wu Hsiao-San, chairman of the Taiwan Association for the Development of multiple Wisdom, explained that when the University of Science and Technology is faced with industrial 4.0, the focus is on know why, and only by pluralistic integration and systematic thinking, and with competitive forces to strengthen its own strength, can it break through the predicament. Chairman Wu particularly praised the order-based employment program of Longhua University of Science and Technology, through the cooperation between academia and industry to cultivate relevant talents, not only to shorten the gap between learning and application, but also to solve the employment problem, and its achievements are commendable.
