At 10:00 on the 17th, the Taipei Municipal Information Bureau invited the Republic of China non-storey Retail Trade Association, Chunghwa Telecom, Opay third-party payment company, Liji Fu online Golden flow Company, Ganggu Technology Company, United International Action payment Company, Acer Information Company, Leli Digital Technology Company, Lanxin Technology Company, Taiwan Mobile, Paifu International Information Company, Zhi Fubao Company, Electronic payment related companies such as Taiwan Rakuten Market Company The "Symposium on the Application of Smart payment in Taipei" was held in the Taipei City Government.

During the meeting, it was decided that the municipal government will invite the industry to jointly build a smart payment integration platform, which can be used by the public to easily complete the payment process at home through mobile devices, without the need to go to supermarkets or banks to pay for the convenience of the general public.

As one of the top ten innovative cities in the Asia-Pacific region, Taipei has always been a pioneer in promoting several smart cities. in order to create a new era of Taipei smart city, the Taipei city government has integrated the idea of a smart city across the bureau. In the future, it will combine business activities and actions to pay and cash flows to make life more convenient for citizens and establish Taipei as a smart city with navigation indicators.

Li Weibin, director of the Taipei City Information Bureau, said that in the future, the Taipei City Government will work with operators to define a common agreement to support all payment services. After the electronic payment special law is on the road, in order to facilitate the public to pay various fees, the city government has initially planned to open up the fees of three units, namely, the Lands Bureau, the Education Bureau, and the parking Management Agency, and use electronic payment methods to pay. After the inclusion of smart payment, the government will also promote the agencies to review and optimize the operating procedures to match the smoothness of the process.

In the future, all counties and municipal governments are welcome to participate and inject more demand elements. The participants affirmed the city government's initiative to open up, and all supported the development of smart pay in Taipei. in the future, the city government will work with the industry to gradually promote the development of the industry as a whole.
