According to the Compendium of Materia Medica, grapefruit is sweet and sour and cold in nature. it has the effects of regulating qi and resolving phlegm, moistening the lungs and clearing intestines, tonifying blood and invigorating the spleen, can treat less food, light mouth, indigestion and other diseases, can help digestion, eliminate phlegm and thirst, regulate qi and disperse stagnation. Grapefruit peel is smooth, greasy and greasy, it is the top grade of Qinghuo, and it has the effect of cosmetology for long-term consumption.

The practice of honey grapefruit tea

[materials] 500g grapefruit (with belt flesh), 100g white sugar (preferably sucrose), 250g honey (preferably choose milder honey such as locust nectar, not recommended), glass bottle (best for holding 1000cc, boil in water for 5 minutes to disinfect).

1. Soak the grapefruit in hot water for about 5 minutes, wash and dry. Hot water is controlled at about 65 ℃, feeling hot but not hot. Soaking can fully open the pores of the epidermis to facilitate washing, peeling and pickling.

2. Scrape off the outermost yellowish green skin with a knife, thin as much as possible, and bring less white flesh inside, otherwise it will be very bitter. Cut the grapefruit skin into thin shreds, the thinner the better. Then put some salt, this is the essence of pomelo expectorant and cough.

3. Peel off the pulp, remove the core and thin skin, mash it with a spoon, or break it with your hands. It's easy to break.

4. Put the grapefruit peel, flesh and rock sugar in a clean pot (preferably without touching the pot), add a bowl of water and boil it over high heat until the pot is boiled, change to low heat, until it is sticky, and the grapefruit peel is golden and bright; stir frequently to avoid sticking the pot, it takes about an hour, cease fire and cool when only a small amount of juice can be picked up with a spoon.

5. When the sticky grapefruit soup is cooled for about 65 ℃, stir in the honey (be sure to wait for the grapefruit paste to cool before mixing, otherwise the high temperature is easy to destroy the nutrients in the honey), put it in the prepared empty bottle and refrigerate it for a week or so. The longer it is refrigerated, the better the taste.

The second method of honey grapefruit tea

[material] one grapefruit, 500g honey, 100g rock sugar, 1 spoon of salt and proper amount of water.

1. Clean the grapefruit with a layer of salt; peel off the grapefruit, which is the essence of eliminating phlegm and relieving cough.

2. Peel out the grapefruit meat and tear it into small pieces; cut the yellow peel into filaments about 3 cm long and 1 mm thick, the thinner the better; marinate the cut grapefruit peel in salt water for 1 hour.

3. Put the pickled grapefruit peel in clear water and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Soften and remove bitterness.

4. Put the processed grapefruit peel and flesh into a clean, oil-free pot, add a small bowl of water and rock sugar, boil over medium and small heat for 1 hour, until it is sticky, and the grapefruit peel is golden and bright. Pay attention to stirring frequently when boiling to avoid sticking the pot.

5. After cooling, add honey, stir evenly and make honey grapefruit tea. Put it in a sealed jar and store it in the cold room. Rinse it with warm water when drinking.

[tip] Hu pomelo is the best choice for grapefruit. Although it is small, it has the highest Vc content in grapefruit because of its golden skin and fresh flesh.

The third method of honey grapefruit tea

[materials] 1 grapefruit, 1 lemon, 250 grams of rock sugar, 250 grams of honey.

1. Rub the surface of the grapefruit with salt for 5 minutes to remove the wax from the surface. Wash the salt off the surface of the grapefruit with warm water. Cut off the yellow skin of the grapefruit thinly, not the white part.

2. Soak in light salt water for more than 8 hours (it is best to change the water twice in the middle) to remove the bitter taste. Break the grapefruit pulp into small pieces and cut the lemon into small pieces. All crushed into pieces with a shredder.

3. Cut the pomelo peel into thin shreds, as fine as you can. Pour the shredded flesh and shredded grapefruit into the pot (not an iron pot), add rock sugar, boil over low heat and stir with a wooden spoon from time to time to avoid sticking to the pot.

4. 40 minutes later, watch the grapefruit sauce in the pot become sticky and bony. If the pulp is not immediately closed when you pass it with a spoon, you can turn off the heat and let it cool.

5. after the grapefruit tea is heated, pour in the honey and mix it evenly, seal it in a clean bottle without water and oil, and marinate it in the refrigerator for 4 days.

The fourth method of honey grapefruit tea

[materials] 2 grapefruit, 1 tablespoon salt, 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 bottle of honey.

1. Peel, endothelium and white stem of grapefruit, leaving only fruit grains.

2. Add sugar and salt in turn. Then fully squeeze the pulp with a tablespoon to make it completely out of the water and marinate for 20 minutes.
