Grape origin in western Asia, most of the world's vineyards are distributed between 20~52 degrees north latitude and 30~45 degrees south latitude, most of which are in the northern hemisphere. Chinese grapes are mostly between 30 and 43 degrees north latitude. There are more than 8000 kinds of grapes in the world and more than 500 kinds in China. Famous such as: purple round, jeweled "longan", known as the "Pearl of the North". There are precocious seedless white, sweet and sour delicious red, etc.

1. Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon is the king of noble red wine grape varieties, grown worldwide. Its small particles, thick skin, late maturity, resulting in deep color wine. The wine is light tender when the tannic acid flavor intense, has the Tibet wine quality. It is characterized by blackcurrant fruit flavor, honeydew melon flavor, licorice flavor, rich body structure, strong wine.

2. Bellova

Bellova is the queen of grapes for fine wines. The wine is soft and elegant. It is characterized by elegant fragrance when young, gentle and elegant when ripe, fruity and complex, with obvious strawberry and cherry aromas. Bellevue produces some of the most exciting red wines in the world, but the jade is flawed. Bellevue is a grape variety that is generally considered difficult to grow. Although its fruit ripens early, it is fragile, thin and perishable.

3. Sui Lexian

Spiraeus is the prince of vintage grapes. A medium bodied wine, between Cabernet Sauvignon and Bellevue, with a vintage value. When fully ripe, the texture is smooth and rich like a good bellova. A late-maturing variety with a darker colour, it grows best in warm soils such as granite. However, if planted too closely, its unique mulberry fruit fragrance and black pepper flavor will fade.

4. Melo

Merlot is also the most popular red grape variety. Merlot is popular because it is early, tender and prolific, and can be used to make delicious and smooth wines in large quantities. It can also be widely used to blend with other grape varieties to produce mature and balanced red wines. Merlot grows well in cooler places.

5. Jiamei

Camry originated in Bougainville, France, and is now mainly produced in the village of Bauzouly. The wine produced was light purple color, tannins content is very low, taste light, rich in fresh fruit. The wine brewed with Camel is easy to drink and usually not suitable for long-term storage. It belongs to the wine that is drunk when it is young. However, if it grows on igneous shale and low lime content soil, Camry can also produce rich and durable red wines, such as Moulin-a-Vent, St. Amour and so on. In addition to Po Zuli Village, Luya Rain Valley is the most planted. As for California Gamay Beaujolais, it is a species of Pinot Noir, not a true Camelot species.

6. Timpaniu

Timpanio is native to northern Spain and etymologically means "precocious." The calcareous clay of barren slopes is the best growing condition for it, unlike other Spanish varieties, which are suitable for cooler and milder climates. Timpaniu is the most important variety of Rioja, cultivated mainly in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, but also widely cultivated in northern Spain, but not well known in other countries. Timpaniu is not bad in quality, lack of acidity is a common fault, wine is sometimes mixed with other grape varieties.

7. Zinfandel

Zinfandel was introduced to California from Italy in the 19th century and is now the largest variety grown locally, mainly for the production of table wine and semi-sweet white wine and even sparkling wine. However, if grown on cooler gravel slopes, small yields and a longer soaking process can produce high-quality, long-lasting wines. It has a rich fragrance of flowers and fruits, and often has various spices after aging. Dry Creek Valley, Alexandra Valley, Geyserville, Amador, Sierra Foothill and Paso Robles are among the best regions.

8. Nabiolo

Napiolo is probably one of the best breeds in Italy. In Permont Valrellina, Lombarby, Barolo, Barberesco and other D.O.C. DOAs have larger acreage. Nabiolo produces wines with layers of complex aromas (tea, rose, spice and tar), a robust tannic structure and a deep aging potential. Nabiolo needs the best growing conditions, otherwise it will not fully mature. Nebbiolo derives its name from nebbia, which means "fog" in Italian. This reflects the characteristics of nabiolo, which is usually harvested late in the year (late-ripening type). It has been proved that Napiolo has not been able to grow and make good red wine in any country except Italy so far.

9. Babila

Barbera was once a daily drink in Permont, northern Italy, and is now the most widely cultivated grape variety since San Giovanni. Barbera has been one of the highest quality grape varieties for the past two decades, becoming more refined with the deacidification process and the fermentation of peach. Today's wines made from Barbera are more complex, firm and fruity, with good aging value and potential, but all of these are from Permont or southern Italy. Barbera brewed elsewhere, especially in Argentina and California, is plain and high in acidity.

10. Peaches

In Permont, northern Italy, Dodo is the third largest grape variety after Napiolo and Barbera. Dottie peach is the most early grape variety, it contains a lot of tannins, and will produce a lot of sediment during brewing. Therefore, winemakers usually use a short time to ferment and bottle it as soon as possible to avoid this problem in the red wine brewed. The result is a very attractive, deep ruby red wine with sweet berry and cypress aromas and an almond nose.
