Tree trunk

Flower

Petals Obovate, alternate as many as sepals, imbricate. Flowers can be divided into single and double. Double variety pistil and stamen multi-petal flowers and sterility, petals as many as dozens. The flowers are red, but also white and yellow, pink, agate and other colors. Stamens numerous, filaments glabrous. Pistil with 1 style, longer than stamens, carpels 4-8, ovary inferior.

Fruit

After ripening, the fruit of the pomegranate becomes a large, multi-locular, many-seeded berry, with many seeds in each chamber. Testa fleshy, bright red, light red or white, juicy, sweet and sour, that is, the edible part. The inner seed coat is horny, and some are degenerated and softened, that is, soft-seed pomegranate. The fruit pomegranate florescence is from May to June, the pomegranate flower is like fire, and the fruit period is from September to October.
