Where is the origin of Bigen fruit?

Bigen fruit is native to the United States and northern Mexico in North America. It is one of 17 species of Carya cathayensis in the world. It belongs to pure wild fruit and is a natural green food without any pollution. It has become one of the dried fruit trees in the world. It is cultivated in Hebei, Henan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Sichuan and other provinces in China.

Requirements for planting conditions of Bigen fruit

1. Temperature: Bigenguo prefers warm and humid climate, the annual average temperature is 15.2℃, the highest temperature is 41.7℃, it is cold-resistant, and it is not damaged by freezing at-15 ℃, but low temperature at flowering stage will affect flowering, pollination and flower development.

2. Moisture: Bigen fruit needs more water, and different phenological periods in a year have different requirements for water. Generally, appropriate amount of Rain Water is required in spring shoot growth period before flowering, flowering period from late April to mid-May, avoiding continuous overcast and rain. June to September is the period of fruit and naked bud development, which requires sufficient and uniform rainfall.

3. Light: the green root fruit is not too demanding to the light, the young period requires a cool environment, the seedlings must be shaded artificially, and the adult trees grow poorly on the sunny and barren slope.

4. Soil: the soil for planting Bigen fruit is the gravelly loam soil weathered by loose and humus-rich limestone, and the best is the oil-black soil, yellow soil developed on limestone and yellow soil developed on sandstone, slate and shale. Red soil and sandy soil are not suitable for the growth of Bigen fruit.
