Since last year, the government has planned to promote the development of electric locomotive rental tourism on the outlying islands. So far, six outlying islands, such as Mazu, Kinmen, Penghu, Green Island, Orchid Island and Xiao Ryukyu, are evaluating the feasibility of Orchid Island, and all other outlying islands have electric locomotive rental operators stationed to enter the low-carbon tourism market.

In view of the Mazu area, the Industry Bureau has assisted Junmeng International Co., Ltd. to integrate with the local travel agency to set up the first electric locomotive leasing operator, "Ride track Leasing Co., Ltd." on July 3, the Mazu South Pole Visitor Center held a press conference on the launch of the tourism operation of Mazu's electric locomotive. And the introduction of 200 electric locomotives approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs TES (Taiwan E-scooter Standard) China EM80 model, officially put into the ranks of low-carbon tourism on outlying islands!

The Industry Bureau said: the Ride track Leasing Company will put electric locomotives into the tourist itinerary, combined with local characteristic tour services, to create a diversified operation mode to meet the needs of different customer groups, so that electric locomotives can run off the island and start a new page! At the same time, the Facebook fan group of the Industry Bureau organized the "low-carbon Love Tour Riding fun Matsu" online event in May this year, inviting bloggers to personally ride electric locomotives to play Mazu, through wonderful picture and text sharing, leading readers to experience the scene!

Riding track Leasing Company introduces the China Motor EM80 model and uses domestic lithium ternary batteries to serve tourists with different needs by setting up operating bases in Nangan Qingshui Village and Beigan Tangqi Village to provide vehicle management, charging, dispatching and delivery services. Considering the different entry and exit points of passengers' flights, we can introduce cross-island flexible use schemes such as land rent A, land rent B and daily rent of 500 yuan to visit four islands (Nangan, Beigan, Dongyin, Dongfang) and so on.

In order to promote electric locomotive rental tourism on outlying islands, since last year, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has provided a subsidy of 7200 yuan per small light vehicle and 10, 000 yuan per light and heavy vehicle approved by TES. The EPA also subsidizes NT $20,000 for light and heavy duty (decreasing year by year) and NT $9,000 for individual light weight (decreasing year by year). The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Communications also provides a car rental subsidy for tourists from outlying islands. 100 yuan per person per month (decreasing year by year). It is expected to integrate inter-ministry resources and encourage operators to respond to government policies to jointly promote electric locomotive sightseeing tourism on outlying islands.

Mazu has special island customs and a number of tourism highlights. Recently, electric locomotives combined with ecological tours, environmentally friendly residential accommodation, low-carbon sightseeing routes and other alliances can promote the development of green economy industry while sightseeing, and also make a contribution to sustainable environmental and ecological protection, and jointly build Mazu into a "low-carbon happy tourism island"!
