Preparation of bayberry before picking

4. When picking bayberry, you should pay attention to safety and don't climb too high. If you want to pick the bayberry growing on the top of the tree, you'd better put a bamboo fork to the orchard.

How to choose red bayberry?

1, look at the color: dark red, or too black and red bayberry had better not pick, cyan, cyan red bayberry is not yet mature, should choose dry fruit, bright red bayberry.

2. Touch the pulp: if the red bayberry pulp is too soft, it is too mature, it is best not to pick it. If the meat is too hard, it is not yet fully ripe, it tastes sour and tastes bad. Red bayberry with moderate hardness is the best choice.

3. Look at the pulp: look at the pulp of red bayberry. There are obvious grains of flesh on the surface that should protrude and cannot be shrunk.

4. Taste: red bayberry is juicy, tender and sweet, and there is no residue in the mouth. Some of the poor quality of non-local bayberry is more dry, less imported juice, and there is still residue after eating.

5, smell fragrance: fresh bayberry smells fragrant, if it has sour taste, it means that bayberry has been fermented, after the best edible period, affecting the taste.

What if the clothes are infected with bayberry juice?

If the clothes are infected with bayberry juice, there is a folk saying: after the bayberry season, the color will naturally fade, maybe this pigment has a certain aging.

If you can't wait, you can try it this way: soak the clothes, wash them with soap without wringing them out, and then apply a lot of toilet water on the clothes where there is bayberry juice, so as to ensure that this area can be fully covered with red bayberry juice. Then put it in the water that has just been washed and leave it for more than half an hour, and the red bayberry juice will fade.

Special note: after picking and going home, wash the bayberry with clean water, then soak it in salt water for 10 minutes, soak the white bugs inside the bayberry, and then eat it after treatment. After picking it back, it is not suitable to put it in the refrigerator directly. The bugs inside are frozen to death and cannot be soaked with salt water.
