The mangosteen berry is subglobose, 3.5-7cm in diameter, the calyx is persistent, the pericarp is 0.6-1cm thick and fibrous, the immature fruit exudes yellow juice when it is damaged, and the mature fruit is purplish red. There are 0-4 seeds in the fruit, generally 1-2 seeds, brown, rough, with fibrous lines on the surface. The well-developed seeds are about 2-2.5cm in length, 1.5-2cm in width, 0.7-1.2cm in thickness, 0.12.29 in grain weight and 19 in average grain weight. The main root is strong, deep into the soil, the lateral root is few and weak, there are few root hairs, transplant the root, it is not easy to survive, the fruit period is 11-12 months.
