"Guichang" kiwifruit is bred by grafting of local wild kiwifruit. Cuiyu

Cuiyu kiwifruit is a new variety jointly bred by Hunan Horticultural Research Institute and Zhang Shicheng, Longzhuangwan Township, Xupu County, Hunan Province. in September 2001, it was identified by provincial experts that the fruit was of excellent quality, large shape, rich and delicious flavor, and was highly resistant to storage, high and stable yield. it is an early and middle ripening variety with excellent comprehensive characters. The fruit orchard of this variety is cone-shaped, the fruit is raised, the pericarp is green-brown, the fruit surface is smooth and hairless, the average weight of single fruit is 85-95 grams, and the maximum weight of single fruit is 129-242 grams. The flesh is green or emerald green, the meat is dense, tender, juicy, the flavor is thick and sweet, and the content of soluble solids is 17.3-19.5%.

The content of vitamin C in Cuiyu kiwifruit is 143mg / 100g, the total acidity is 1.4%, and the total sugar is 16% Mur22%. In the middle of September, the yield of three-year-old plants reached 20 kg, the highest yield was 49 kg, and the yield per mu could reach 2500-4000 kg. The comprehensive characters are better than those of the control varieties Fengyue, Zaoxian, Kuimi, Xiangxiang, Qinmei, Jinkui, Hayward and so on.
