The much-anticipated summer activity "Summer Fun at Chikaxuan Green Water Park" opened yesterday (1), attracting more than 7,000 people for fun and laughter on the first day. During the blessing ceremony, deputy county magistrate Tsai Yun-huang, county councilors Hsu Hsueh-yu, Li Chiu-wang, Huang Chen-fu, Cheng Chien-lung, Shih Chin-shu, Lin Chiu-mei, and Hsu Chen-wei, director of the Legislative Affairs Office, prayed sincerely for a smooth summer festival. Accompanied by Luo Wen-lung, director of the Agriculture Department, they toured various water facilities and related safety measures in the park. Tourists from all over the country are welcome to come to Zhikaxuan to play in the water and picnic on a hot summer day to enjoy a cool summer vacation.
Cai Yunhuang, deputy county magistrate of Hualien, said that the county government began planning Zhikaxuan summer water play activities four years ago. The park has a number of hydrophilic facilities, including wave pools, drifting rivers, nursery pools, children's pools, 360-degree and 720-degree turning waterslides, water guns, umbrellas, water games and other interactive amusement equipment, as well as carefully planned landscaping and glass greenhouse plant pavilions to create a graceful green space, which meets the needs of different age groups and can make parent-child relations closer. Welcome friends of all sizes to experience together.
Luo Wenlong, director of agriculture, reminded the public that Zhika Xuanlu Forest Water Park is open all year round and free of charge. The water play facilities are open from July 1 to August 26 (9:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. and 13:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. daily, with a 1:30 noon break for pool cleaning and maintenance). The pool is closed every Monday to clean up the environment. If a typhoon warning is issued during the opening period, it will not be opened. In addition, in order to maintain the hygiene and safety of the pool, please wear swimwear and swimming cap before entering the pool, and please pay attention to the child's condition at all times. When children under 6 years old enter the pool, please accompany them all the way to avoid danger.
