The EPD has conducted five "seed training camps for soil and groundwater pollution control" since 1999, and nearly 430 trainees have been trained so far. Over the past five years, the response from all walks of life has been quite enthusiastic. after graduation, the students devoted themselves to the treatment of soil and groundwater pollution. Due to the high professional threshold for soil and groundwater pollution investigation and remediation work, in order to enable young students to integrate seamlessly with the industry, the EPD conducts training camps every year to provide professional and innovative technology courses in various fields, and at the same time strengthen industry-university cooperation to expand the training of soil and groundwater professionals.

Taking into account the differences in knowledge, grades, and employment urgency of the students, this year's "training Camp for seed talents for soil and groundwater pollution Control" is specially divided into advanced classes and primary classes, and courses of different depths are arranged. A total of 160 students from 24 colleges and universities participated in this camp. Through course study, on-site visits and customs-breaking activities, we can increase the learning impression and stimulate students' interest in the investigation and treatment of soil and groundwater pollution, so as to prepare for future employment in advance.

Participants said that participating in the "seed training Camp for soil and groundwater pollution Control" gave them a better understanding of soil and groundwater pollution control work. Different from the knowledge learned in the classroom, the actual exposure to pollution investigation tools is even more impressive. The EPD said that participants in the whole process will issue training certificates, group awards and medals with outstanding learning results, and encourage students to continuously enrich their knowledge in the field of soil and groundwater pollution control. It is expected that the students will become professionals in the field of soil and groundwater in China in the future.
