2015 Achievement Exhibition and Master Lecture of the Talent training Program for the Cartoon Industry of the Ministry of Culture

The talent training program for the comic industry of "2015 Comic Stars Cartoon Stars", sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and sponsored by Nantai University of Science and Technology, held the opening ceremony at the Tainan Cultural and Creative Park on Thursday, while the students' painstaking works were displayed at the Tainan Cultural and Creative Park (93x7) and the Zhisheng Memorial Hall of Datong University (9University6). Good friends who love comics are welcome to enjoy the creative works of this group of outstanding students.

In order to enable the domestic comic industry to take root from talent training and achieve good and long-term development, the Ministry of Culture handles the "Talent training Program for the Comic Industry", carries out a training plan for talents needed by the industry, and openly recruits students with a basic knowledge of comics. employ online practitioners as lecturers and plan courses that combine theory with practice, so as to promote the cultivation and quality improvement of industrial professionals. This year, courses will be held at Nantai University of Science and Technology and Datong University in the south and north respectively.

Since the course officially began on April 11, over a period of more than four months, students have encountered many bottlenecks and challenges. A total of 100 students from different backgrounds from north and south, including warm-blooded art students from part-time models, the vision and ambition of the son of a comic book store, the dream of overseas Chinese students, and nursing students who love comics and give up professional back-to-back battles. Because of the dream, we all gathered together. What kind of enthusiasm motivates them to follow the path of comics? "on the way" is a special documentary shot in this achievement exhibition, depicting the unknown stories of the students, and inviting you to participate in the original intention of feeling the pure dream!

In addition to showing the achievements of the cartoon industry talent training program of the Ministry of Culture in 2015, the north-south exhibition area also invited cartoonists Liu Yunjie and Wen Shaolun from Hong Kong, as well as Japanese cartoonists Keiyama and Shigimoto Kenjiro, to share the laughter and tears of cartoons closely, so that students who are interested in entering the industry can feel the agitation from different cultural backgrounds. In order to strengthen the follow-up promotion and application of the students' works, after the end of the exhibition in the north and south, they will be moved to the Kaohsiung Software Park to invite creative, software and animation manufacturers to communicate together. After the exhibition, the excellent works of the students will also be assembled into volumes to promote them in an all-round way. These students will be precious seeds of industrial talents and will continue to move forward with their own ideas.

The Ministry of Culture said that "Cartoon moving forward, Dreams to be seen" is the purpose of the Ministry of Culture's cartoon industry talent training program in 2015. It is hoped that a series of training and guidance will provide a stage for domestic talents who are willing to join the cartoon industry to learn and publish. Through the cooperation of the government, academia, industry, and all parties, the uncut jade will shine, and it is expected that Taiwan's original comics will stand firm and move forward on a broader stage in the future.
