The 2015 Taipei International Invention and Technology Trade Fair is unveiled, and creative inventions attract attention.

In order to promote technological exchanges and cooperation between industry and university, the Ministry of Science and Technology took "the Power of multiplication" as the exhibition theme in the "2015 Taipei International Invention and Technology Exchange ─ Science and Technology Museum" (hereinafter referred to as the Science and Technology Museum) held at the Taipei World Trade Center from October 1 (4) to 3 (6). Plan the theme experience area, create streets, homes and other living conditions, so that people can experience the changes in life brought about by new technology. Lin Yiping, undersecretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, will attend the opening and signing ceremony at 12:30 on the first day of the exhibition. Technical release activities will be arranged on the hour every day. Manufacturers and members of the public are welcome to visit free of charge!

This year, the Science and Technology Museum uses the "multiplicative power" to convey that the Ministry of Science and Technology supports the scientific and technological research and development of academic and research units, and extends to the industry, moving forward in the direction of academic research and industrial development, and through this multiplicative force to lead Taiwan towards a more sensible and intelligent life. Another feature of this pavilion is to display in different areas with the theme of trends, namely, "urbanization", "aging", "industrialization" and "climate change". Thirty academic and research institutions in Taiwan are invited to display 120 technologies and inventions close to international development and life applications.

It includes the "diaper detection and prediction system" demonstrated by the University of Science and Technology of China, which can assist in nursing work and improve the quality of care in aging Taiwan. This technology (Goo9) collects the changes of diaper temperature and humidity on the patch by building a wireless sensing and communication module, provides functions including urine humidity detection and reminder, assists the routine work of long-term caregivers, and supports one-to-many diaper monitoring situations, in line with the current configuration of care institutions. At present, four nursing centers have cooperated to set up a large-scale monitoring system and discussed mass production with the industry.

In addition, Jiaotong University will also display "advanced driving assistance technology" to detect and analyze through camera images, such as lane deviation warning, vehicle detection, pedestrian and locomotive detection, driving behavior analysis, and so on, to improve the active safety of people and vehicles. The Intelligent Vision system Industry-University Alliance (iVSIAC) has provided the industry with professional and forward-looking technical backing in the field of vision. so far, it has exchanged technology with nearly 80 manufacturers, and last year it had substantial technology transfer and industry-university cooperation with 11 companies.

Recently, in order to attract consumers, some bars or restaurants offer diners to play darts, which are loved by office workers and think they are interesting and relieving effect. this year, Knight Video Technology (stock), which is coached by the innovative Entrepreneurship incentive Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, will display the intelligent darts target of the Internet of things, which is the first interactive hard darts target in the world. Then through the computer vision for darts positioning and scoring, so that the traditional hard darts can also compete and interact with other players through the Internet of things. And the global output value of electronic darts reached 250 million US dollars in 2014, which shows the potential for follow-up development and the market.

In order to effectively spread academic research achievements and enhance the competitiveness of China's industry, the Ministry of Science and Technology continued to promote general industry-university cooperation and innovative industry-university cooperation programs, as of the end of August 2014. A total of 510 general industry-university cooperation programs have been approved, a total of 530 cooperative manufacturers have been approved, and a total of NT $1.007 billion has been approved (NT $731 million subsidized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and NT $276 million for cooperative manufacturers). A total of 1423 people participated in the program, and a total of 908 participants were sent by cooperative manufacturers.

In addition, the Industry-University Alliance Cooperation Program approved a total of 106 items in 2014, from cultural food to the Internet of things, from the game industry to automotive technology, from intelligent robots to automation, from medical materials and cosmetics to the cloud, expanding the need to assist in industrial technological upgrading. At present, four subsidy schemes have been approved by the Industry-University Alliance in 2014, and the remaining three plans are reviewed, and the participating cooperative manufacturers are all domestic industries with important indicators in the industry.

Under the measures taken by the Ministry of Science and Technology to actively promote industry-university links, by the end of August 2014, the amount of technology transfer contracts for R & D achievements had reached 27037 million yuan, an increase of about 40% over the same period last year, with fruitful results. The Science and Technology Museum is scheduled to hold a signing witness and opening ceremony at 1: 00 p.m. on October 1st (Thursday). 21 technical publishing activities will be held in three days. More wonderful technical content can go to the official website (www.most.org.tw) to browse the exhibits. Manufacturers and the public are welcome to visit the museum during the exhibition.
