The growth habits of Flos Lonicerae

The other shore flower is native to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and parts of southwest China and the Matsu Islands, and is also distributed in Vietnam, Malaysia and East Asia. Like the sun, humid environment, but also able to withstand semi-shade and drought environment, slightly cold-resistant, strong vitality, there are no strict requirements for the soil, such as fertile soil and good drainage, the flowers are particularly prosperous. In addition, Manzhushahua likes to grow up in the graveyard, so it is also called the dead flower.

The Propagation method of Flos Lonicerae

The main results are as follows: 1. The method of dividing balls on the other side is the easiest way of reproduction. The plants are dug up during the dormant period or after flowering, and the epiphytic bulbs near the mother ball are removed and planted, and they can blossom in about one or two years.

2. Cutting method: the base of the cleaned bulb is cut into eight parts in meter shape, and the cutting depth is about the length of the bulb. After disinfection and shade drying, it was inserted into the substrate such as moist sand and perlite. After 3 months, adventitious buds could be seen at the junction of the scale and the base plate, and bulbs were gradually formed, and seedlings could be formed after separation and cultivation.

3. Tissue culture method: using MS medium, pedicel and ovary were used as explants, and callus could be produced at the incision. Adventitious roots can be formed after 1 month and adventitious buds can be formed after 3-4 months. Adventitious buds and corms can also be produced by using pedicels and stemmed scales as explants.

4. Sowing method: generally, it is only used for cross breeding. Because the seed has no dormancy, it should be sowed immediately after seed collection, and the radicle can be seen after 15 days at 20 ℃. When sowing in the natural environment, only a few seedlings pull out a leaf in the first growth cycle, and can be transplanted once in the seedling stage. It takes about 4 to 5 years from sowing to flowering.

Sufficient organic fertilizer should be buried in the soil before planting, and then topdressing should be used every two months. Self-made mature compost or three-element fertilizer can be used, and the proportion of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be emphasized to promote bulb development and flowering.

5. Temperature: Bianhua likes a warm environment, but the maximum temperature should not exceed 30 ℃, and the daily average temperature should not exceed 24 ℃. In winter, the daily average temperature should be kept above 8 ℃, and the minimum temperature should be 1 ℃, so as not to affect the growth of Bianhua.

6. Diseases and insects: the common diseases of the other side flowers are anthracnose and bacterial soft rot. The bulbs were soaked in 0.3% copper sulfate solution for 30 minutes before planting, washed with water and planted after drying. Spray 50% carbendazim wettable powder 500 times every half a month.
