Pan Meng-an, the county magistrate, said that Pingtung is an important production base for agricultural products, flowers, and freshwater aquaculture. At this year's Tropical Agricultural Expo, the county government has specially planned different themes, in addition to colorful rice, flower sea, melon and fruit promenade, and multi-ethnic special areas. There are also food farmers' experience, leisure agriculture exhibition areas, and even planning high-quality fish tasting and children's paradise areas, so that people can definitely have food, play, and new scenic spots suitable for parents and children to travel together.

The Pingtung Tropical Agricultural Park, located on the Taiwan 27 line and next to the Yanpu section of National Highway 3, covers an area of 27 hectares, with 2 hectares of land specially planned to create the world's first local glove puppet puppet show color rice 3D totem. With the two important protagonists of Thunderbolt glove puppet show, combined with the 3D computer drawing technology of Zhengxiu University of Science and Technology, the characters in the play are presented with elegant and soft pictures with four kinds of colored rice colors: purple, white, yellow and green.

The park also creates the largest landscape art in Taiwan, using more than 20 kinds of flowers and plants, such as large Persian chrysanthemum, sunflower, sage, feathered cockscomb and a bunch of red flowers and plants, to create patterns of flowers, birds, fish and fruits, and make use of the changes in topography to create a three-dimensional flower sea of dawn hills and rainbow hills, and then add patterns symbolizing fishing and livestock, flowers and fruits, and rural scenery to show the vision of living and working in peace and contentment.

The 12 major theme areas also include the food farmer experience of standard safe farming demonstrated by Farmers University, Yannan Fei students and Shenlong Award farmers, and field production to introduce the agricultural production process; theme pavilions, agricultural products exhibition and DIY experience areas are set up in the leisure agriculture exhibition area to introduce characteristic sightseeing in Pingtung. In addition, the high-quality fish tasting area provides a variety of beautiful ornamental fish displays, tasting and promotion of a variety of fresh fish ingredients.

The Pingtung County Department of Agriculture said that the "Pingtung Tropical Agriculture Expo" runs from January 30 to February 29. Except for New Year's Eve's rest garden on February 7, the park opens from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, free of income. There are 800 parking spaces planned in the park, with a parking fee of 100 yuan for cars and 50 yuan for locomotives.
